Safety Precautions
- Follow all instructions for safe use and handling of the product.
- Use the camera within given temperature, humidity and voltage levels noted in the camera specifications.
- Do not disassemble the camera.
- Do not point the camera directly at the sun or a source of intense light.
- Periodic cleaning may be required. Use a damp cloth only. Do not use any harsh, chemical-based cleaners.
- The supplied cable is rated for surface and in-wall mounting only (UL approved). Cables for floor-to-floor installations are sold separately (CMR type). These and other cables are available at lorex.com.
- A REGULATED UL / CSA APPROVED power supply is REQUIRED for use with this camera (included). Use of a non-regulated, non-conforming power supply can damage this product and voids the warranty.
Disclaimers
- Lorex Fusion features are limited to the following: Live View, Playback, and advanced settings in the Lorex Home app.
- Use the camera only with compatible Lorex recorders. For a full list, visit lorex.com/compatibility.
- Not intended for submersion in water. Installation in a sheltered location recommended.
- The camera includes an Auto Mechanical IR Cut Filter. When the camera changes between Day/Night viewing modes, an audible clicking noise may be heard from the camera. This clicking is normal, and indicates that the camera filter is working.
- Audio recording and/or face recording without consent is illegal in certain jurisdictions. Lorex Corporation assumes no liability for use of its products that does not conform with local laws.

Connect Your Wired Camera
Connect your camera directly to your recorder using the camera’s Ethernet
extension cable or connect your camera to an external PoE switch on your
network.
Setup Your Recorder

Connect your recorder to your Wi-Fi router using the included Ethernet cable.
Required for Fusion setup. -
Connect the included USB mouse to the USB port on your recorder. To copy events or to perform a firmware update, connect a USB flash drive.

Connect your recorder to your TV using the included HDMI cable. The HDMI supports up to 4K resolution and VGA supports up to 1080p.Connect the included power adapter to your recorder and a power outlet. Complete the Lorex Setup Wizard and select Network Setup when prompted.
Download the Lorex Home App
To enable remote viewing with mobile apps, you will need to:
- Have high-speed Internet
- Have an upload speed of 6Mbps for one 4K channel and at least 20Mbps for the whole system
- Find your recorder’s Device ID
To connect your recorder to the app:
- Download https://app.lorex.com/home/download
- Tap +
- Follow the in-app steps to complete the setup.
Connect Your Wi-Fi Camera
Ensure your Wi-Fi camera and recorder are connected to the same Lorex Home app account and network.

Power on your Wi-Fi camera.

Open / Ouvrir / Abierto Lorex Home app.

Tap+

Follow the in-app steps to complete the setup.
Save your newly created Wi-Fi camera password for later. -
Next, move onto your recorder and click to login.

From the Live View, click + on a channel.

Click Device Search.

Double-click your Wi-Fi camera.

Enter your Wi-Fi camera’s password created in-app.

Give your Wi-Fi camera a few mintues to establish a connection.
Note: You can add up to 8 Lorex Fusion Wi-Fi devices.
Adjust Fusion Settings
Turn off duplicate notifications: After Fusion setup, your Wi-Fi camera is connected to the app twice. Turn off alerts for your Wi-Fi camera connected as a device under your recorder.
- Open
- Under your recorder, swipe left to find your Wi-Fi camera.
- Tap on your Wi-Fi camera’s icon.
- Tap on Turn off Alerts, and then Save.
Customize your Wi-Fi camera’s recording settings: After Fusion setup, your Wi- Fi camera will automatically record continuously for 24/7 while storing video on your recorder’s hard drive. To adjust the recording settings, follow the steps below.
- Go to Settings > Record Settings.
- Select your Wi-Fi camera’s channel.
- Set to record on MD (Motion Detection) or Continuous.
- Click / Cliquez sur / Hacer clic Apply.
