WIRELESS SPEAKER QUICK-START GUIDE

Speaker:
Power Supply: ‘C’x 8 or included SAA Listed AC Adaptor 240V-DC12V
- Open the battery compartment on the bottom of your speaker.
- Insert eight “c” batteries in the direction shown.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
- Or attach the AC/DC adaptor labeled “SPEAKER” to the DC 12V jack at right side of speaker.
- Press the power button “ON” at the top of speaker.
Transmitter:
Power Supply: ‘AA’ x 4 or included SAA Listed AC Adaptor 240V-DC12V
- Open the battery compartment on the bottom of transmitter.
- Insert four AA batteries in the direction shown.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
- Or attach the AC/DC adaptor labeled “TRANSMITTER” to “DC9V” jack at right side of the transmitter.
- Press the power button “ON” at the front of the transmitter.
Wired Listening:
You may connect any audio device such as an MP3, CD, DVD PLAYER, CABLE BOX or TV.
- Locate the “AUDIO-OUT” jack on your selected audio device.
- Connect the device to the “AUDIO-IN” jack on the side of the speaker using the supplied cables.
- Make sure the volume of the source device is set to 50% maximum.
- Turn on the speaker & adjust the volume to a suitable level.
Listening Wirelessly:
NOTE: Please refer to the QUICK-START GUIDE included with this product for detailed instructions on connecting the Transmitter to most commonly used audio devices.
You may connect any audio device such as an MP3, CD, DVD Player, Cable Box or TV.
- Locate the “AUDIO-OUT” jack on your selected audio device.
- Connect the device to the “AUDIO-IN” jack on the transmitter.
- Make sure the volume of the source device is set to 50% maximum.
- Turn on the transmitter & the speaker and adjust the volume to a suitable level.
Charging your MP3 Player:
Many MP3 players may be charged by connecting them to the transmitter using a USB cable (sold separately).
- Connect your MP3 player to a USB cable.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB CHARGING jack located on side of the transmitter.
NOTE: THIS FEATURE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ALL MP3 PLAYERS. PLEASE CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER OF YOUR MP3 PLAYER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CHARGE IN THIS WAY. IF YOU ARE UNSURE, DO NOT CHARGE YOUR PLAYER USING THIS METHOD. KOGAN WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY ATTEMPTING TO CHARGE INCOMPATIBLE MP3 PLAYERS OR OTHER DEVICES USING THE METHOD DESCRIBED ABOVE.
If Something Doesn’t Sound Right:
- Refer to the QUICK-START GUIDE and verify that all of your connections are correct.
- Make sure that all connections are secure.
- Make sure the Transmitter is connected to the “Audio-Out” jacks of the source device.
- If using batteries, make sure they are fully charged. If unsure replace them.
- Make sure that the source audio device is turned on and set to a reasonable volume, typically this is approximately 50% of maximum.
- Move closer to the location where the transmitter is set-up.
- Make sure the telescopic antenna on the transmitter is fully extended and pointed in the direction of the speaker system.
- Move the transmitter further away from any souce of electromagnetic interference such as electrical wires, televisions, radios, computers or microwaves.
Note: When connecting the Transmitter to a Television, the RCA ‘Audio- Out’ jacks are located on the back of your TV Set, not the front).
