Installation Overview
- Turn off power at the source.
- Make a hole in the ceiling with a template in the package.
- Carefully remove the knock-out with a screwdriver or punch.
- Open the connector’s box cover. Feed the supply wire into the knockout hole using the connector and make all connections inside the junction box using the EZ connectors (see picture below). Connect the 120V line wire to the black wire. Connect the neutral wire to the white wire. Connect a bare copper wire to the grounding terminal of the outlet box. Put on the junction box cover.
- Use it as an air-tight recessed downlight, MIN height above the ceiling is 2 inches. Put in the Connector and female connector, raise the springs to a vertical position and push the light kit into the hole until it stays. Fit in the ceiling. Push the light kit on one side to change the angle and illuminate the target area.
- Hold the trim and push the recessed down upwards until it separates from the light kit, move the cable away from the rubber ring, and if necessary, cut a hole in the rubber ring so that the cable can go out.
- Use it as a Non-airtight recessed downlight, above ceiling height can range from 1-3/8 inch to 2 inches. Tester: use a manual to set up those lights

- What should I do if the light fixture shows any visible defect?
- Immediately discontinue use and contact customer service for a replacement or refund.
- Can I control the light manually through the ON/OFF wall switch?
- Yes, but ensure each turn-on is more than 10 seconds to prevent accidental pairing. If the light blinks due to wrong operation, let it blink for 10 seconds, then turn off
- and back on the wall switch to recover to paired status.
- What should I check if there is no voltage or if the light is not working correctly?
- Check that the circuit is not powered, ensure the junction box is grounded properly, and verify that the wire connection between the junction box and light kit is correct. For more information, please refer to the user manual and voice control guide provided with the product.

GENERAL: All electrical connections must be by local and National
Electrical Code (N.E.C.) standards. If you are unfamiliar with proper
electrical wiring connections, contact and obtain the services of a qualified
electrician. Use UL or IEC-approved wire only for input/output connections.
Remove fixture and mounting components from the box, and make sure that no
parts are missing, by referencing the illustration in the illustration
instructions.
- Turn power off before installation, inspection, or removal.
- Use all necessary precautions while performing this procedure.
- Consult a qualified electrician to ensure the correct branch circuit conductor. Min 90°C supply conductors.
- Properly ground electrical enclosure. THE OUTLET BOX MUST BE PROPERLY GROUNDED.
- DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS, OTHERWISE SAFETY WILL BE COMPROMISED.

- Check that the line voltage is correct.
- If there is no voltage, then check all connections.
- Check that the junction box is grounded properly.
- If the light kit does not light:
- Check the wire connection between the junction box and the light kit is correct

replacement fixture upon receipt of the returned fixture, register receipt,

Returning the fixture will help us monitor and further improve product
quality. This replacement is the sole remedy available, and LIABILITY FOR

Note: This product is a smart light, using Direct Digital Controls rather than triac dimming. Here are two dimming way for your reference:
- Download Cloudy Bay’s APP, go to the product group or single product page, and adjust the brightness and CCT of white light or colour light on the control panel; you can also go to the home page, dick product group or single product’s common function, adjust brightness and colour temperature.
- Control with a smart voice device such as Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa if you have installed it successfully.
