Installation

  1. Ensure all devices are powered off before connection. Once the USB power cable is connected the Power LED will illuminate.
  2. Connecting the following HDMI cables:
    • Out1: Connect a HDMI cable to your HDMI eARC port on the display.
    • Out2: Connect a HDMI to your Sound system (AV Receiver or soundbar).
    • Input: Connect a HDMI cable to your required source device.
  3. Configure the dip switches on the unit to control EDID and audio extraction.

Dip Switch Configuration

Name Function
eARC This switch is used to turn off/on the eARC function. ON

position, the Out2 port will switch output the eARC/ARC audio; OFF
the Out2 port will output audio from the HDMI IN port.
EDID switch| This switch is used to select EDID: OUT1 position will take the
audio EDID block from the display connected to OUT1; OUT2 position
will take the audio EDID block from the display connected to OUT2.
Video EDID block will always be taken from OUT1. If the copy fails,
the unit will use an internal EDID of 1080p 2Channel audio.

Troubleshooting

  • No signal: Please ensure that all cables are connected.
  • No audio: Please ensure that the correct dip switch has been selected.
  • No audio: Please make sure that you have connected your HDMI cable to the eARC/ARC on the display.
