Installation Instructions

  1. Remove lock-up knobs [A] and lock washers [B] from mounting screws [E]. Retain knobs and lock washers.
  2. Attach the mounting strap [D] to the outlet box [G] using the strap mounting screws [C]. Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit the position of the fixture.
  3. Grounding Instructions:
    • a. On fixtures where the mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground screw and thread it into the hole.
    • b. On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach the ground wire from the outlet box under the cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread it into the mounting strap.

If the fixture is provided with a ground wire, connect the fixture ground wire to the outlet box ground wire with a wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect the ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

Make wire connections. Reference the chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly:

Note : When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) are used. The neutral wire is square-shaped or ridged, and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth (See illustration).
NOTE: The fixture should be installed with sockets [J] facing UP. Push the fixture to the wall, carefully aligning the mounting screws protruding from the mounting strap with holes in the canopy. NOTE: Make sure all wires are inside the canopy and do not get pinched between the mounting strap and canopy or wall and canopy of the fixture.

  • Slip lock washers [B] over threads protruding through holes in the canopy (2 places).
  • Screw knobs [A] onto threads protruding through holes in the canopy (2 places) and tighten to secure the fixture to the wall.
  • Carefully slip the small opening in the glass shade [I] over the socket [J]. Make sure the glass shade base is fully seated on socket base [K].
  • While holding the glass shade on the socket base, secure the glass shade by screwing the socket ring [F] onto the threads of the socket until snug against the inside surface of the glass shade. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
  • Repeat steps 8 and 9 for the remaining glass shades.
  • Insert recommended bulb(s) (not included).

CAUTIONS
CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK:
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fusebox before starting and during the installation.

WARNING:

  1. This fixture is intended for installation by the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is recommended. Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in serious injury and/or property damage and will void the warranty.

CLEANING

  • Always be certain that the electric current is turned off before cleaning.
  • Only a soft damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage the finish.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
