Product Information
The product is a lighting fixture that comes with a variety of parts including stems, short threaded tubes, center body, outlet box, mounting plate, canopy, swivel, knob, lock washer, plate mounting screw, shade, coupling, hex nut, socket, and mounting screws. The installation instructions must be followed carefully to ensure that the fixture is assembled securely and safely.
Product Usage Instructions
- Call customer support at 866-558-5706 for assistance between 9am to 5pm EST on weekdays.
- Refer to the fixture diagram to identify the different parts of the product.
- Apply thread locking compound to all stem threads as noted with symbol () to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, re-lamping, etc.
- Screw center body[C] onto coupling[L] on both sides of the fixture, one with fixture wires and one without fixture wires. Tighten to secure.
- Pass fixture wires from center body through desired number of short threaded tubes[B] and stems[A]. Screw stems together using short threaded tubes, applying thread locker where noted with symbol (). Screw first stem into the top of center body.
- Repeat step 5 on the side of the fixture without fixture wires.
- Pass fixture wires from the last stem on the side of fixture with wires through swivel[G] and thread swivel into last stem, applying thread locker where noted with symbol (). Take note of direction of swivel in accordance with ceiling.
- Thread other swivel[G] into last stem on the side of the fixture without fixture wires, applying thread locker where noted with symbol (). Take note of direction of swivel in accordance with ceiling.
- Lower canopy[F] over the top of installed swivels so that threads at the top of swivels protrude into the swivel holes at far ends of canopy. Slip lock washers[M] over swivel threads protruding into canopy, then thread hex nuts[N] onto swivel threads protruding into canopy. Tighten hex nuts to secure assembly. Take note of direction of swivel in accordance with ceiling.
- Cut fixture wires a MINIMUM of 20 inches from the top edge of canopy.
- Attach mounting plate[E] to outlet box[D] using the plate mounting screws[J]. Mounting plate can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.
- Follow the grounding instructions provided in the user manual carefully to ensure proper grounding of the fixture.

CAUTIONS
CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK:
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fusebox before
starting and during the installation.
WARNING:
This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National
Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not
familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is
recommended. Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in
serious injury and/or property damage and will void the warranty.
CLEANING:
- Always be certain that electric current is turned off before cleaning.
- Only a soft damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage the finish.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

On the side of the fixture with fixture wires, screw the center body[C] onto the coupling [L]. Tighten to secure.
Repeat on side of the fixture without fixture wires.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted with the symbol (4) to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, re-lamping, etc. -
On the side of the fixture with fixture wires, pass fixture wires from the center body through the desired number of short threaded tubes[B] and stems[A]. On the side of the fixture without fixture wires, screw a second set of short threaded tubes and stems together using short threaded tubes (same number of short threaded tubes and stems from the previous step but without fixture wires), applying thread locker where noted with the symbol (4). Screw the first stem into the top of the center body.

On the side of the fixture with fixture wires, pass fixture wires from the last stem through swivel[G] and thread swivel into last stem, applying thread locker where noted with the symbol (4). Take note of the direction of the swivel in accordance with the ceiling.

On the side of the fixture without fixture wires, thread other swivel[G] into the last stem, applying thread locker where noted with the symbol (4). Take note of the direction of the swivel in accordance with the ceiling.

Carefully lower canopy[F] down over the top of installed swivels so that threads at the top of swivels protrude into the swivel holes at far ends of the canopy. Attach mounting plate[E] to outlet box[D] using the plate mounting screws[J]. The mounting plate can be adjusted to suit the position of the fixture.

Grounding instructions: (See Illus. a or b).
- a. On fixtures where the mounting plate is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from the outlet box around green ground screw, and thread it into the hole.
- b. On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach ground wire from the outlet box under cupped washer and a green ground screw, and thread into the mounting plate.
If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect the fixture ground wire to the outlet box ground wire with wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect the ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

Make wire connections. Reference chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

*Note: When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) are used. The neutral wire is square shaped or ridged and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth (See illus.)|

Raise the canopy to the ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws[P] through mounting screw holes in the canopy.
NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between the mounting plate and canopy or canopy and ceiling. -
While holding the canopy in place, use lock washers[I] and then knobs[H] to secure the canopy. Tighten to secure.

Carefully lower shade[K] down over socket[O] until seated. Repeat for remaining sockets.

Insert recommended bulbs (Not supplied).
