Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Mounting Bracket Assembly
- Hold the mounting bracket (A) so that the two holes along the edge are on the left and right of the bracket, and the head of the ground screw is facing outward.
- Carefully pull the house wires through the round hole in the mounting bracket (A).
- Align the holes in the mounting bracket (A) with the holes in the junction box.
- Thread each junction box screw (B) into the holes in the mounting bracket (A) and the holes in the junction box.
- Tighten the junction box screws (B) to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. Make sure to pull the house wires completely through the hole in the mounting bracket. Do not pinch wires between the bracket and wall.
Step 2: Wiring Connection
- Strip 3/4 of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A), but do not completely remove it.
- Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough length to attach to the fixture ground wire.
- Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together.
- Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Refer to the chart for correct wire connections.
- Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together.
- Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it.
- Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together.
- Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Refer to the chart for correct wire connections.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires to secure them.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
Step 3: Final Assembly
- Place the backplate (D) over the mounting bracket (A). Make sure not to pinch any wires between the backplate and bracket.

INSTALLATION
- Hold mounting bracket (A) so the two holes along the edge of the mounting bracket (A) are on the left and right of the mounting bracket (A) and the head of the attached ground screw is facing outward.
- Carefully pull house wires through the round hole in the mounting bracket (A). Align holes in mounting bracket (A) with holes in the junction box.
- Thread each junction box screw (B) into holes in the mounting bracket (A) and holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. CAUTION : Make sure house wires are pulled completely through the hole in the mounting bracket. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and wall.
- Strip 3/4” of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference the chart below for correct wire connections. Connect Supply (House) Ground Copper Wire to:
- Bare Copper Wire or,
- Bare Silver Wire or,
- Green Insulated Wire.
- Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
Connect Black Lead Supply (House) Wire to:| Connect White Neutral Supply (House) Wire to:

*When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) is used: The lead wire is round in shape or smooth. The neutral wire is square or ridged.

Place backplate (D) over mounting bracket (A).
CAUTION : Do not pinch wires between the backplate and the wall. -
Align holes in each side of the backplate (D) with holes along the edge of the mounting bracket (A). Thread fixture mounting screws (E) into holes in the backplate (D) and holes in the mounting bracket (A). Tighten fixture mounting screws (E) to secure the fixture to the wall.

Slip hole in ring (N) over socket. Pass hole in the top of shade (K) over the socket.

Slip spacer (M) over socket. Using the socket ring tool (P), thread the socket ring (L) onto the socket. Tighten socket ring (L) to secure shade (K) in place. DO NOT over-tighten.

Screw recommended bulb (E26 Edison bulb type, not included) into the socket. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of the fixture.
WARNING : DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
