IKEA SOMRIG Remote Control Button Edge Driver Instruction Manual
SOMRIG shortcut button works with DIRIGERA hub and IKEA Home smart app to control smart products. Use the app to tell your smart products what to do and when to do it, then save it as a scene to be controlled by this shortcut button.
Note: this product does not function without the hub and app.
Get started
Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the instructions on screen to add
the product to your smart home system.

For Apple devices, download the app using the App Store. For Android devices,
download the app using Google Play store.
Note: If you have a TRÅDFRI gateway please use IKEA Home smart 1 app.
Get to know your product
This product is designed to control scenes in a smart home system. Use Button
1 or Button 2 to control your scenes.

Controlling your scenes
Each button has a single, double and long-press so you can connect multiple
scenes to one button.
Connect up to 6 scenes to one shortcut button (3 scenes per button).
Connecting your scenes
Use the IKEA Home smart app to connect scenes to your shortcut button. Follow
the instructions in the app to create a scene and assign a button press-type
to it. The scene will start when you single, double or longpress the assigned
button.
Battery care
When the battery gets low, a red LED light will blink when you press any
button. DIRIGERA hub and IKEA vHome smart app users can view battery status in
the app and receive notifications when the battery starts to run out.
Changing the battery
Open the battery compartment using a flat object and replace the battery with
a new AAA/HR03.
Safety information
Warning!
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect battery type. Dispose
of used batteries according to the WEEE instructions at the end of this
document.

- This product is for indoor use only and can be used in temperatures ranging from 0℃ to 40℃ (32°F to 104°F).
- Do not leave this product in direct sunlight or near a heat source as it may overheat.
- Different building material and product location can affect wireless connectivity range.
Care instructions
To clean the remote control, wipe with a soft cloth moistened with a little
mild detergent. Use another soft, dry cloth to wipe dry.
Note!
Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents as this can damage the
product.
