INTRODUCTION

Electric wax melter are manufactured in durable stainless steel and dull polished to give a long lasting finish. With proper care and management your new purchase will give you years of trouble free service .

IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES

  1. Read all instructions carefully. Responsibility for failure cannot be accepted if any of these instructions are ignored.
  2. Always unplug the melter plug before cleaning, after use, and after emptying.
  3. Before using the Wax melter, check whether the voltage indicated corresponds with the electric outlet (EU Plug 230V/US Plug 120V).
  4. Make sure the unit is connected to an earthed socket.
  5. Do not use the Wax melter if the cord or plug is damaged, it should be replaced before using.
  6. Always switch off before removing plug from the outlet.
  7. Always switch off before trying to move the wax melter.
  8. Remove the plug by grasping the plug. Do NOT pull the cord.
  9. Do not let cord hang over edge of counter. Place the wax melter securely in center of counter or work space. Never place on a tilted surface.
  10. Do not place the wax melter on or near hot surfaces.
  11. Do not switch on the Wax melter, if the wax tank is empty.
  12. Do not place the wax melter near gas stove, electric burner or heated oven.
  13. Put the Wax melter on flat stable surface; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
  14. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  15. Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the Wax melter.
  16. To protect against electric shock, DO NOT IMMERSEIN WATER for the Wax melter.
  17. Unplug the unit from the socket, and pour out all the wax before it cools .
  18. Switch OFF after use and unplug the unit from the socket.
  19. Do not use the Wax melter outdoor. INDOORUSEONLY
  20. Do not over fill the Wax melter with wax, doing so can lead to spillage as the wax heats up and expands.
  21. Improper use of the Wax melrer may result in severe scalding.
  22. Beware of hot steam when removing the lid.
  23. Always ensure the lid is securely fitted whenever the wax melter contains wax.
  24. Do not turn on or attempt to operate the wax melter when the wax level is at or below the Min level.
  25. Do not turn on the wax melter when the wax level is above the Max level. When the wax boils it will cause spillage.
  26. If the wax melter should boil dry there is an overheat cut out which can automatically reset. However repeated over heating will eventually damage the heating element.
  27. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  28. Do not attempt to disassemble the wax melter. This will void your warranty.
  29. To avoid a plugged faucet, the remaining wax cannot be higher than the faucet when the power is cooling.
  30. This machine is not suitable for jelly wax.
  31. This machine should not be operated by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given super vision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

PRIOR TO FIRST USE

Remove all packaging from the inside and outside of the wax melter

HOW TO USE

  1. Always use the wax melter on a flat level surface.
  2. Turn the lid anti clockwise to open.
  3. Fill the wax melter not above the Max level indicator.
  4. Replace the lid and turn clockwise to lock into place.
  5. Connect the plug to the socket.
  6. Switch ON. The Red “Heating” pilot lamp will light up and the wax starts to heat up.
  7. The wax will reach the set thermostat temperature.
  8. Stand your cup on the hold close to the faucet to prevent splashing of wax.
  9. Use the faucet to dispense wax.
  10. When the wax is topped up the wax melter will automatically reboil.
  11. When the wax is completely melted, turn the appliance off, unplug it from the electric outlet, and pour out all the wax.
  12. Make sure at least 500ml wax in the tank when heating to prevent a boil-dry accident.
  13. The melter can be very heavy when filled with wax. Melter should not be carried or moved when full of wax as the weight and unsteady load can cause injury or strain. Melter should be placed in their position of use and filled through several trips with a smaller, manage able container (egajug). To ensure operator safety in lifting the machines, Melter should never be moved when filled with more than 5L ( 5L = 5Kg approximately)

BOIL DRY PROTECTION

The appliance is protected by a thermal limiter with automatically re- set function to prevent accidental dry-boil. .If the wax in the tank is boiled dry , this is activated, the appliance will turn itself off, although the lamp with remain on. The appliance must be unplugged before it can be reset. To reset the appliance, wait until the appliance has cooled down, then power on the appliance again, check if the heating pilot light is on. If the pilot light is on, it indicates the unit has recovered to normal working condition; if the light is still off, unplug the cord and try to power on again. Repeat this operation several times until the appliance is under normal working condition.

This facility is for the protection of the user as well as the components. In case of such repeated incidents the bi-metal may malfunction causing damage of thermal limiter as well as the heating element beyond repair. Please note that the manufacturer will not guarantee for such negligent use of appliance.

If resetting this thermal cut-out does not switch the appliance back on, please call for service or professional maintenance agent to have further check.

This safety device may have been switched off during transport, if so reset the thermal cut-off following the above instructions

THERMAL CUT-OUT

The appliance is fitted with a thermal cut-out to have double safety protection. When the wax is boiled dry and the boil dry protections fails to work ,the thermal cut-out will work, then the appliance stops working.

The cut out temperature is 240℃

This thermal cut-out is a disposable part. When this part comes into effect, it will be broken and cannot be used again. The appliance should be brought to authorized agent to replace the thermal cut out.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

A. Only perform cleaning once the plug has been removed and the wax melter has completely cooled down.
B. Never immerse the wax melter into water.
C. Pore hot water into the melter, brush sides, Melt the wax completely then pour out the water.
D. Do not use any cleaning products which can cause a health hazard.
E. Use a soft cloth to wipe the urn body dry. Do not use a brasive materials to avoid scratches

B. The lid must be placed when the wax is dissolved.
C. Do not mix with water when melting wax. Wipe the water off before adding wax beans.
