Introduction

The Aura BluNote is a portable wireless speaker system that offers improved sound quality while streaming music wirelessly from any Bluetooth device. The Aura BluNote is small and light, yet it provides high-quality sound with three-dimensional soundscapes with to functions like “bass boost” and “stereo widening.” The BluNote provides a premium yet cost-effective approach to improve your musical experience. The BluNote is ideal for every situation, whether you are hosting an event or simply relaxing by the pool. From a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, PDA, iPod, MP3/MP4 player, portable gaming console, or PC, you can use the BluNote to listen to your saved music. An AC converter and four AA batteries are included with the Aura BluNote. The BluNote offers more than ten hours of audio playback on a single charge and has a Bluetooth range of up to 33 feet.

FAQs

Is it compatible with kindle fire****

It’s Bluetooth – should work with any device with Bluetooth capability. I don’t have a Kindle so I can’t say for sure about it.

Anybody know what size barrel the 5v power plug is for this thing? I tried a 2.1 mm and it’s too small.****

Don’t know sorry it was a present.

I want three speakers playing simultaneously in three different rooms…is this possible with this system?****

Unless the transmitting device supports multiple simultaneous Bluetooth connections, then no. Anyways, the sound quality of these speakers is extremely mediocre, so it’s just as well.

Can you use rechargeable AA batteries or Lithium non-rechargeable AA’s. Also, what if you have the batteries in, and they run low, so you plug the AC.****

Yes, rechargeable batteries worked I’m mine. Also, regular batteries and you can plug into wall socket when you have no batteries.

Speaker’s Bluetooth will recognize my iPhone 6 but it will not recognize my iPad or my iPad mini. Any help with this?****

Check if the bluetooth protocol isn’t too old on the Aura that by the way died the first time I connected to the plug instead of use the battery, not a great product.

use with windows 7?****

Yes, It works perfectly with Windows 7 bluetooth.

does it work with iPhone 5****

Yes it does. I own an iPhone 5 and it works via bluetooth or the included cable. I also used it with an iPad, and a Macbook Pro.

Does this have an output jack?****

No output jack. There is a jack that connects to your device, which then plugs into the wall through the charging device, so you can use it without WIFI or bluetooth as well. We are down in the woods quite frequently at a campsite and this works well. Also works nicely on the back porch of my house, which gets WIFI signal and bluetooth connection from the house.

is it rechargeable****

No, it takes regular batteries. I would buy the one which is rechargeable.

not work good very bad sound****

The sound is less than mediocre. It sounds like an old transistor radio and that is a terrible sound. The sound is just bad. Not enough bass or treble…very disappointing. I will probably give it to my seven year old nephew because anyone older expects more sound power.

can you pair with more than 1 phone****

No, only 1 phone at a time and to switch pairing from one phone to another is tedious. Must manually disconnect 1st phone from BluNote before pairing to 2nd and typically requires 2-3 attempts.

What is the range from device to speaker? Because if I use outside I don’t want my phone in the heat. Also how weather proof is the speaker?****

Unfortunately, I only used this speaker a couple of times and now it “screeches” when used on battery power, but still works with the cord. I was so disappointed. Since then I went to Bed Bath and beyond and bought a little round bluetooth speaker (I’m on vacation without the speaker, otherwise I’d tell you the brand) and it’s much better and it was $19.99.

Does it have microphone? May I talk during making or receiving calls?****

No microphone, it is a speaker only.

Why did they promote this as a speaker costing over $100 when it’s actually listed for $39?****

Because the original price for the unit when it was released was over $100? Pretty self-evident when you look at the price that’s crossed out.

Has anyone had this problem? I have a note 2 @ first it worked great. Than it starred only receiving call audio and NO media audio. That stinks****

Just delete or “forget” the device from your phone, then go through the steps of connecting it via the speaker. I think you hold down the PTT button until it goes into pairing mode. Instructions are on the back. I think what happened is that your phone is recognizing it as a headset for talk, not as a speaker for talk and music.
