SECTION 1 INTRODUCTION
The ACS series Price Computing Scale is a Low-cost Cost Highly accurate measuring equipment and is the most suitable scale for Supermarkets, Grocery Stores and other retail outlets. This scale is equipped with Highly accurate and precise sensors. It can store up to 8 unit prices and 99 accumulation memory. It is a versatile machine; because it also runs on a rechargeable battery in case of lack of mains power. The scale will also automatically switch off when it is in non-use condition to save power.

DISPLAY DESCRIPTION
Display Indicators
- Tare indicator: The TARE LED is located on the left side below the Weight Window
- Zero indicator: The ZERO LED is located on the right side below the Weight Window
- Low Battery Indicator: Low Battery Indicator is located below the Unit Price Window
- AC power indicator: AC Power LED/LCD is located below the Total Price Window
SECTION 3 OPERATION
GENERAL INSTRUCTION
- When the battery goes low, the “Low Battery” indicator will be turned on automatically. It is the time to charge the battery with the AC power.
- Before starting using ACS, please check if the bubble is in the middle of the level; if not, please make appropriate adjustments.
- allow ACS to warm up for 10 minutes after switching on the power, for better results.
BASIC OPERATION
Zero the scale
When there is no item on the scale but the reading is not zero, press the ZERO
key to turn on the ZERO indicator. Ensure that the scale is in ZERO position
and the ZERO indicator is glowing; place an item for weighing on the pan. The
Weight Window will display the weight of the item.
Tare
Put the container on the platter, once the weight reading is stable, press the
TARE key, the TARE indicator will be on and the container’s weight will be
deducted. When it is time to clear the TARE, take off the container, and press
the TARE key again.
Overload Warning

set a unit price of the goods, EPS-1 PR then uses this unit price to determine
how much value of those goods (placed on the platter). When the ACS scale

through numeric keys. The set unit price is shown in the UNIT PRICE window
display, THE TOTAL PRICE window display shows the total price of the goods. To
cancel the previous unit price, press the c key
ACCUMULATOR OPERATION
Prepare to accumulate
Each time before accumulating, please make sure the platter is empty, the
current accumulator values are reset to zero, and the weight reading is
stable. Accumulation operation Put the weighing item on a platter, wait for
the weight reading to be stable, and press the Add key, the window will show
Add n being the number of times a count operation had been performed. If you
have entered the Unit Price for that item; the accumulate operation will show
the total of both – Weight as well as Price as follows: Place an item on a
Platter, allow the scale reading to be stable; enter the unit price using
numeric keys, Unit price window will show the Unit price and Total price
window will show total price.
Now, press the Add key, and it will store the value of weight and price. Now, remove the first item from the platter, place another item on the scale; and allow it to be stable, Enter the Unit price using numeric keys, after observing the Unit price and Total price, press the Add key again. The Unit price window will flash Add 2. and the weight window as well as the Total price window will show accumulated weight and accumulated price respectively. You can carry on this way 99 times with your ACS scale.
Accumulate Clear
You can clear the accumulated value by pressing the C (Clear) key at any time.
UNIT PRICE STORAGE
ACS scale can store 8 sets of unit prices.
Store the unit price
Press the STORE key; then enter the desired unit price using numeric keys. Now
press the M (=1 to 8) key. The value will be stored in the respective M (
=1 to 8) key. If you have already entered any value in that key, it will be
replaced by the new value.
Load the unit price
If you want to use the unit price stored in the ACS while weighing; then press
the respective M (= 1 to 8) key after the weighing display is stable. The
Unit price will be loaded and it will be displayed in the Unit Price Window.
SECTION 4
Battery
The battery must be recharged properly after use of the scale without Mains
power. Normally; charge for 1.2 hr for each use of 1 hr of scale. If it is not
used for a longer time; then charge it continuously at least for 24 hours.
Otherwise, it will cause damage to the battery. Never connect the battery in
reverse polarity. Ensure that the Scale’s +ve is connected with Battery +ve
and Scale’s -ve is connected with Battery -ve.
Remark: Before you begin to charge the battery, please turn off the scale
first.
Water/ Temperature
Protect your scale from Heavy rain, Water flooding and also Direct Sunlight
and High temperatures (above 50 deg. C). This scale is not a Waterproof scale.
Humidity
Protect it from the constant humidity; DO NOT install near a humidifier
Magnetic Field
Do not install your scale near a Strong Magnetic Field. It may damage delicate
parts of your scale.
Repair / Maintenance
Do not try to open the scale by yourself OR by an unauthorized technical
person. This may damage the scale permanently. Always contact your nearest
dealer/service station for emergency repairs.
