-
Tensioning Lever
This lever is used to apply tension to the strap. Hold the sealing lever with your left hand and use your right hand to move the tension lever forwards and backwards until the required strap tension is obtained. -
Sealing/Cutting Lever
This lever is used to seal and cut the strap. Move the sealing lever forward while keeping your right hand on the tensioning lever to resist the opposing force. The strap will be sealed and cut. -

Feedwheel Gap Adjustment
The gap between the feed wheel and gripper can be adjusted to change the pressure on the strap. Turn the locking screw clockwise to increase the gap, and counterclockwise to reduce it. The standard gap is 0.2mm (0.008″). -
Strap Size Conversion
- To set the guide for different strap sizes, unscrew the locknut and pin. Move the shims to the required setting and tighten the locknut to save the setting.
- To replace the side strap guide, remove the safety circlip. Squeeze the opening lever and remove the guide. Replace it with the required size.

- Insert the two straps against the front/rear strap guides.
- Release the levers.
- Hold the sealing lever with your left hand and use your right hand to move the tension lever forwards and backwards until the required strap tension is obtained.
- Move the sealing lever forward while keeping your right hand on the tensioning lever to resist the opposing force. The strap will be sealed and cut.
- Return the sealing lever, squeeze the opening and sealing levers together to open the tool, and turn it to the right side to release it from the strap.
Seal Check: A regular seal quality control is important. Check the seal as follows:
- Stamped seal is not deep enough and the upper strap is not cut.
- Correct seal, the upper strap must be cut clean and the cutter must not leave a scratch on the lower strap.
- The stamped seal is too deep and the lower strap is scratched by the cutter.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- READ THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
- WHEN OPERATING THE TOOL, WEAR EYE, FACE AND HAND SAFETY PROTECTION
- GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS :
- The tool must be used by properly trained personnel. Failure to follow the operating instructions or improper use of tool can cause strap breakage, injuries, or package damage.
- Check tool daily, do not use tool with worn or damaged parts. Promptly replace them by trained people and use original spare parts. Never modify any tool part.
- Do not put fingers, hands or other body parts between the strap and package during the cycle.
- It is your responsibility to check the joints made by your tool. Seal control will be useful to check the seal quality in order to avoid severe injury. Never move goods with bad quality seals. Use only specific strap dispenser to dispense the strap. Always use the tool in good balance and safety conditions. Never use straps as a means of pulling or lifting goods.
- Always use a proper safety strap cutter and keep other people and yourself at a safe distance from strap, always stand to side of strap, away from direction of strap trajectory when cut. Hold the upper strap portion and pay attention that the lower strap will snap forward away from you. Improper operation, excessive tensioning, use of non- recommended strap, sharp corners on the package could cause in a loss of strap tension and/or strap breakage that could lead to packaging failure or injury. It is recommended to use edge protectors if package has sharp corners, to place the strap correctly around a properly positioned package, stand in safety position (on one side of strap) during strapping cycle, and use the correct strap quality, width, thickness, and strength as recommended in this manual.
- Please save this manual, as it is a part of the tool. This tool is manufactured without any substances which could be dangerous to health. National instructions must be observed for disposal of all the parts.

screw clockwise to reduce the depth, and counter clockwise to increase it.
Tighten locknut. (pic. A)
Feedwheel gap adjustment
It is possible to adjust the gap between feed wheel and gripper in order to
change pressure on strap; turn the locking screw (pic.B1) clockwise to
increase the gap, counter clockwise to reduce the gap. The standard gap is
0.2mm (0.008”) (pic.B2).
Strap size conversion
To set the tool for 13mm ½” – 16mm 5/8” – 19mm ¾” strap sizes follow the below

TROUBLESHOOTING
-
The feedwheel slides and scratches the strap
Check if the feed wheel is dirty or worn out. Check the gap between the feed wheel and locking bottom plate (right around .008” – .012”) -
The lower strap isn’t locked between bottom plate and feedwheel, the tool goes forward
Check the gap between the feed wheel and bottom plate (right around .008” – .012”). Check if the locking bottom plate is dirty or damaged. -
Seizing signs on strap
Check the gap between the feed wheel and locking bottom plate (right around .008” – .012”)- try to increase the gap. Check if the strap qualities are right for the tool and application. -
The strap is breaking during tension
Too much tension force applied. Check if the strap qualities are right for the tool and application -
The sealing isn’t in the middle of strap
Check the strap size and adjust the guides – Check the guides alignment -
The tensioned strap turns sideways
Too much tension force applied. Check if the strap qualities are right for the strapping tool and application. Check if the locking bottom plate is moving free -
The strap is breaking during the sealing
- Too much sealing depth. Check that the cutter doesn’t cut the lower strap—adjust the sealing depth
- The sealing isn’t complete – upper strap not cut
- Check the strap thickness and try to adjust the sealing / cutting depth
- Check if the strap qualities are right for the strapping tool. Check if the cutter is damaged
-
After sealing it is not possible to remove the tool from the strap
- Check, if after sealing and cutting the strap the tool is locked—cut the strap from package and use the screw below the opening lever to remove the strap(see “feed wheel gap adjustment”)
- If the upper strap isn’t cut and it is not possible to remove the tool, adjust the sealing depth and complete the operation.
