EVALOGIK Z-Wave Mutil-relay ZW12 User Manual
Introduction
This product can be operated in any Z-Wave network with other Z Wave Plus™ certified devices from other manufacturers. All non-battery operated nodes within the network will act as repeaters regardless of vendor to increase reliability of the network. Each module is designed to act as a repeater, which will re-transmit a radio frequency (RF) signal by routing the signal around obstacles and radio dead spots to ensure that the signal is received at its intended destination. ZW12 is a security enabled Z-Wave Plus™ device. A security Enabled Z-Wave Plus™ Controller must be used in order to fully utilize the product. The Device Type of the ZW12 is on/off power switch. The Role Type of the ZW12 is Always On Slave Role Type.

ZW12 Installation Wiring Diagram
Key function description
- Function 1: press and hold for more than 5s,change SW1 mode
- Function 2: press 2x and hold for more than 5s,change SW2 mode
- Function 3: quickly press 3x Button: ADD(inclusion) OR Remove( exclusion)
- Function 4: press 5x change led parameter
- Function 5: press 4x, then LED lit for 4s, within this time press 4x again – LED blinks 3 times then off to FACTORY RESET
(Note: Please use this procedure only when the network primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.)
Adding Your Device To A Hub
The device support two methods of inclusion, When using a Z-Wave Plus™ certified controller choose Network Wide Inclusion or SmartStart,
Network Wide Inclusion To A Z-Wave™ Network.
- Refer to your primary controller instructions to process the inclusion / exclusion setup procedure.
- When prompted by your primary controller, click the Up or Down button three times in one second.
The device is compatible with SmartStart
SmartStart enabled products can be added into a Z-Wave network by scanning the Z-Wave™ QR Code found on the top of the outlet or the back of the box with a controller providing SmartStart inclusion. No further action is required and the SmartStart product will be added automatically within 10 minutes of being switched on and in the network vicinity.

- For the root endpoint, the Notification and Sensor Binary only supported when the parameter 2 is set to 4~9 or the parameter 3 is set to 4~9. (When one of input or both two inputs are used to sensor alarm.
- For the endpoint 1, the Notification and Sensor Binary only supported when the parameter 2 is set to 4~9. (When input (S1 and C) is used to sensor alarm.

Configuration Parameters
You may use the below configuration parameters to change settings of the corresponding functionality.
Restore state after power failure
Paramter No: 1(0x01)
- Size:1 Byte (default=1)
- Value: 00 All relays automatically turn OFF once power is restored
- Value: 01 All relays remember the status prior to power outage and turns back to it
- Value: 02 All relays turned on after power failure
- Value: 03 R1 recovered, R2 ON

Select switch one’s type Paramter No: 2(0x02)
- Size:1 Byte (default=2)
- Value: 00 momentary switch
- \Value: 01 toggle switch (contact closed -ON, contact opened – OFF)
- Value: 02 toggle switch (device changes status when switch changes status)
- Value: 03 garage door mode(toggle switch type for external switch (like in value 1) + built-in 2 second auto-off timer for Z-Wave control (so if user turns the relay on from the Z-Wave hub, it will automatically turn off after 2 seconds)

ZW12 supports 3 association groups. Group 1 supports 1 node ID,Group 2 and Group 3 Supports maximum of 5 node ID’s

Association group_1: Z-Wave™ Plus Lifeline
Association group_1 is default to associate with the primary controller (Gateway/Hub/Controller) for ZW12 Status change report,
- ZW12 will trigger AUTO report function if the Switch status had been changed. (ex. Switch Binary Report/Indicator Report/ Notification Report/ Device Reset Locally Notification/Sensor Binary Report)
Association group_2:basic set command on/off controlt
When the output of the ZW12 is changed, On (0xFF) or Off (0x00). The ZW12 will automatically send out a related basic set command. On (0xFF) or Off (0x00) to its associated group.
Association group_3:basic set command on/off controlt
When the output of the ZW12 is changed, On (0xFF) or Off (0x00). The ZW12 will automatically send out a related basic set command. On (0xFF) or Off (0x00) to its associated group.
Restoring Factory Defaults
ZW12 is removed from the network and will be restored to the factory setting
All Configuration Parameters values and Association information will be
restored to factory default settings and excluded from the network.
Manual Reset:press 4x, then LED lit for 4s, within this time press 4x again – LED blinks 3 times then off to FACTORY RESET
Remark : All the setting and data will be permanently deleted.
Please use this procedure only when the network primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.
