Product Usage Instructions
Installing the Safety Bar and the Padlock
1. Make sure the TV is safely secured before proceeding.
2. The padlock is not included, so you need to acquire one
separately.
3. Fold the edge of the safety bar inward.
Safety Bar Adjustment
1. Insert the safety bar onto the rail at the bottom of the wall
plate to secure it.
2. Put a padlock on the safety bar to prevent the TV from being
stolen.
TV Angle Adjustment
To adjust the viewing angle of the TV:
1. Push or pull from the top or bottom of the screen to obtain
the desired angle.

5 Installing the Safety Bar and the Padlock
IMPORTANT: Make sure the TV is safely secured before releasing

6 Adjustment
Insert the safety bar onto the rail (at the bottom of the wall plate) to secure. Put a padlock on the safety bar to prevent the TV from being stolen.
Tilt -10°~+5°
Push or pull from the top or bottom of the
screen to obtain the desired angle.

Tighten screws firmly, but do not over tighten. Over tightening can damage the
items, greatly reducing their holding power.

If mounting to wooden studs, make sure that mounting screws are anchored into
the center of the studs. Use of an edge-to-edge stud finder is highly
recommended.
Never exceed the maximum rated weight specified in this manual.
Make sure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.
All bolts and screws must be used at the designated points in the installation instructions to prevent property damage and/or personal injury.
Always use an assistant or mechanical lifting equipment to safely lift and position the equipment.
DO NOT install near air conditioner vents or where there is excessive dust or
smoke.
When drilling holes in the wall, it is very important to take care of
electrical cables, water, or gas pipes in the wall.

1 Installing the Decorative Covers
NOTE
When decorative covers are installed correctly, there will be a gap between the bottom of the wall plate and the decorative covers. This gap is for the safety bar installation on Step 5.

Attach the decorative covers to the wall plate using the screws.
2a Mounting to a Wooden Stud Wall
Stud Finder
For concrete wall NOTE mounting, follow
Step 2b.
1 Using an edge-to-edge stud finder, find the edges of the stud.

2 Using a level, mark the centerline of the stud.

Using the marking template (H) provided, mark four holes for drilling on the
centerline of the stud.
A Wall Plate

Using a power drill and 3/16″ drill bit, drill pilot holes of 3/16″ (4.5 mm)
diameter and at least 2.5″ (65 mm) depth.
E Bubble Level
Insert the bubble level (E) on the wall plate (A)
W-C W-A
5 Mount the wall plate (A) and tighten it with the provided lag bolts (W-A)
and D6 washers (W-C) using a socket wrench.
NOTE Do NOT use power drill and do NOT over tighten the lag bolts.
WARNING
Make sure that mounting screws are anchored into the center of the studs. The
use of a stud finder is highly recommended.
Installers are responsible to provide hardware for other types of mounting
situations. Installers must verify that the supporting surface will safely
support the combined
weight of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.

2b Mounting to a Concrete Wall
H Marking Template
NOTE Do NOT use power drill and do NOT over tighten the lag bolts.

Insert the bubble level (E) on the wall plate (A)

Hold the marking template (H) provided against the wall where you want to
install the TV, mark six holes for drilling.

Using a power drill and a 3/8″ masonry drill bit, drill mounting holes of 3/8″
(10 mm) diameter and 2.7″ (70 mm) depth at the marked locations in the
previous step.

A Wall Plate

3 Place concrete anchors (W-B) in each hole. Tap each anchor flush with the
wall using a hammer. Using a socket wrench, mount the wall plate (A) and
fasten them with the provided lag bolts (W-A) and D6 washers (W-C).
WARNING
Installers must verify that the supporting surface will safely support the
combined weight of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.

3a Installing to a Flat Back Panel of a TV
Choose the appropriate screws and washers according to the type of your TV,
and attach adapter brackets (C and D) to the back of the TV using a Phillips
screwdriver.
