Parallel Cord SPT-1 lamp wire with one round smooth wire and one “D” shaped ribbed wire. -
Pass the wide ends of the keyhole slots in canopy (A) over the long machine screws (CC) protruding from the mounting bracket (B) (Fig. 1).
Turn canopy (A) clockwise to lock the long machine screws (CC) in the narrow ends of the keyhole slots, and then tighten long machine screws (CC) to secure (Fig. 2).
NOTE: Make sure all wires are inside of canopy (A) and do not get pinched between canopy (A) and mounting bracket (B), or canopy (A) and ceiling. -
Screw hex nut (I) onto threaded nipple (F) such that hex nut (I) is approximately 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) – 5/8 inch (15.87mm) down threaded nipple (F). Screw threaded nipple
(F) into socket coupling (D) approximately 1/4in. (6.35 mm).
NOTE: Be sure there is approximately 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) of space left between hex nut (I) and bottom of socket coupling (D). -
Raise glass shade (C) up to canopy (A), carefully passing threaded nipple (F) through small hole in bottom of glass shade (C).

While continuing to hold glass shade (C) in place flush against canopy (A), and holding lower trim (H) in place flush against bottom of glass shade (C), adjust the length of threads protruding through bottom of lower trim (H) by turning threaded nipple (F) clockwise to expose fewer threads, or counterclockwise to expose more threads.
NOTE: There should be enough threads protruding from lower trim (H) such that one hex nut (I) and lower finial (J) would be able to thread onto the threads and secure lower trim (H) tight against glass shade (C). -
Carefully slip lower trim (H) and glass shade (C) off of threaded nipple (F) and retain for later in the assembly.
While holding threaded nipple (F) in place, screw hex nut (I) toward socket coupling (D) until hex nut (I) is tight against the bottom of socket coupling (D). -
Insert 13-watt max. medium base bulb (LED only – not included) into each socket in the socket cluster (E).
-
Carefully raise glass shade (C) up over bulbs, toward canopy (A). Carefully pass threaded nipple (F) through the small hole in glass shade (C), the hole in lower trim (H), and through washer (G). Make sure glass shade (C) is flush against canopy (A), lower trim (H) is flush against glass shade (C), and washer (G) is flush against lower trim (H). While holding glass shade (C), lower trim (H), and washer (G) in place, thread hex nut (I) onto threaded nipple (F). Tighten to secure. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
