Product Usage Instructions
Stem Mounting Instructions
- Rotate the fixture arms into position as shown in Figure 1.
- Pass the fixture wires from the coupling [K] on the main body [N] through the desired number of short threaded tubes [B] and stems [A]. Screw the stems together using the short threaded tubes
- Note: Apply thread locking compound to all stem threads marked with () to prevent accidental rotation of the fixture during cleaning or relamping.
- Thread the assembled stems into the coupling [K].
- Pass the fixture wires from the last stem through the swivel [H] and into the canopy [D].
- Screw the lower end of the swivel into the end of the last stem, making sure to align it with the ceiling.
- Cut the fixture wires a minimum of 6 inches from the top edge of the canopy.
- Find the appropriate threaded holes on the mounting strap [G] that align with the hole distance in the canopy [D]. Screw the mounting screws [J] into the threaded holes starting from the outlet box side.
- Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box [F] using the strap mounting screws [E]. The mounting strap can be adjusted to suit the position of the fixture.
- Grounding instructions
- On fixtures where the mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground screw and thread it into the hole.
- On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach the ground wire from the outlet box under the cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread it into the mounting strap. If the fixture is provided with a ground wire, connect the fixture ground wire to the outlet box ground wire using a wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect the ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

CAUTIONS
CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fusebox before
starting and during the installation.
WARNING
This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National
Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not
familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is
recommended. Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in
serious injury and/or property damage and will void the warranty.
CLEANING
- Always be certain that electric current is turned off before cleaning.
- Only a soft damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage the finish.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
STEM MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

Rotate fixture arms into position as shown (Fig. 1).

Pass fixture wires from coupling[ K ] on main body[ N ] through desired number of short threaded tubes[ B ] and stems[ A ]. Screw stems together using short threaded tubes.
NOTE : Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted with symbol to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc. -
Thread assembled stems into coupling[ K ].

Pass fixture wires from last stem through swivel[ H ] and into canopy[ D ].

Screw lower end of swivel into end of last stem. Take note of direction of swivel in accordance with ceiling.

Cut fixture wires a MINIMUM of 6 inches from the top edge of canopy.

Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap[ G ] that align with hole distance in canopy[ D ]. Screw mounting screws[ J ] into threaded holes starting from the outlet box side.

Attach mounting strap to outlet box[ F ] using the strap mounting screws[ E ]. Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.

- On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
- On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread into mounting strap.
If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect fixture ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

Note : When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) are used. The neutral wire is
square shaped or ridged and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth
(See illus.)|

Raise canopy to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws[ J ] through mounting screw holes in canopy.
NOTE : Be certain wires do not get pinched between strap and canopy or canopy and ceiling. -
While holding canopy in place, use small lock washers[ L ] and lock-up knobs[ M ] to secure canopy. Tighten to secure.

Install the recommended bulbs (not supplied).

Shades[ Q ] can be rotated per user preference to change angle of the lights.
SEMI-FLUSH MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
- Rotate fixture arms into position as shown (Fig. 1).
- Inside of canopy[ D ], unscrew hex nut[ P ] from short threaded tube[ I ], and retain for reassembly.
- Slip lock washer[ O ] and reinforcement plate[ C ] off of short threaded tube, and retain for reassembly.
- Outside of canopy[ D ], carefully slip short threaded tube[ I ] (attached to swivel[ H ]) out of canopy. Unscrew short threaded tube[ I ] from swivel[ H ]. Retain short threaded tube for reassembly. Either discard swivel, or retain swivel for conversion to a stem mounted fixture later.
- Pass fixture wires from coupling[ K ] through short threaded tube[ I ] and screw short threaded tube into coupling.
- Pass fixture wires through center hole in canopy[ D ]. Carefully lower canopy down over short threaded tube[ I ] so that short threaded tube protrudes into canopy.
- Pass fixture wires through reinforcement plate[ C ] and slip reinforcement plate over threads protruding into canopy.
- Pass fixture wires through lock washer[ O ] and slip lock washer onto threads protruding into canopy.
- Pass fixture wires through hex nut[ P ], screw hex nut onto threads protruding into canopy, and tighten to secure reinforcement plate and lock washer in place.
- Follow Steps 6-14 from “Stem Mounting” Instructions.
