Putting into Operation

Before first use, be sure to read the safety instructions contained in this user’s manual carefully.
Before first use, charge the headphones to the maximum level.
Turning on the headphones – press and hold the “on/off” button and wait for the headphones to announce the “BUXTON” greeting.
Turning off the headphones – press and hold the “on/off” button and wait for the headphones to announce “SEE YOU”.
Warning: To prevent damage to your hearing, always keep the volume level of your device to a minimum before connecting BT headphones to your mobile device.
Note: The BT headphones will turn off after a longer period of inactivity unless they are paired to another device.

Bluetooth

The headphones are equipped with a twochannel BT module. This means that it is possible to have headphones connected to two devices at the same time. The audio signal will come from the last connected device until there is a state change in the other device (for example, an incoming call). The audio signal source used will then be replaced by a second audio signal source. You cannot operate both audio signals simultaneously.

Note: pair the headset with one device first, then disconnect the device after successful pairing. Pair the headset with the second device and then connect the first device.

To pair the BT earphones with mobile device, do the following:
Turn on the BT headphone and search for its Bluetooth name “BHP 8700” on the device to which you wish to pair and start the pairing process. If you are asked to enter a pairing code when pairing your device and BT headphone, use the code: “0000”.
To cancel pairing, disconnect the BT headphones (cancel Bluetooth pairing) on your mobile device.

Note: To ensure a stable Bluetooth connection, make sure that the distance between the BT headphones and your paired device is kept within 10 meters. Depending on ambient interference, in some cases it may be necessary to maintain a shorter distance between the BT earphones and the paired device.

Factory Settings

If the headset needs to be reset to factory settings, press the volume up “+” and volume down “-” buttons simultaneously when the headset is switched on. Wait approximately 10 seconds and release the buttons. The LED will  flash red 3 times and the headset will turn  off with the “SEE YOU” message. Turn on the headphones.

Charging

A charged battery provides power for several hours of operation at normal volume levels. A high volume consumes more battery power; therefore, we recommend listening at normal volume levels. Low battery will be reported at 20% and 10%, at the same time the LED indicator will give red intermittent warning. The charging process will be indicated by a red solid LED until the charging adapter is disconnected or fully charged.
Warning: For charging, use only the original accessories supplied with the appliance. To achieve the maximum battery lifetime, it is best to start charging the battery after the low battery power notification. Charge continuously until fully charged. If the battery life is already very short, it is exhausted and we recommend you contact an authorised service centre for more information.
Recommendation: If your headphones are not to be used for an extended period of time, we recommend to fully charge the batteries once every two to three months.
