Product Usage Instructions

Installation Instructions

  1. Pass the fixture wires from the coupling [I] through the stem [J] and into the canopy [G].
  2. Screw the lower end of the stem [J] into the coupling [I] and tighten to secure.
  3. Carefully lower the shade [K] down onto the frame [H].
  4. Find the appropriate threaded holes on the mounting strap [A] that align with the hole distance in the canopy [G]. Assemble the mounting screws [B] into the threaded holes starting from the outlet box side.
  5. Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box [C] using the supplied strap mounting screws [D]. The mounting strap can be adjusted to suit the position of the fixture.
  6. Grounding instructions :
    • If the mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground screw and thread it into the hole.
    • If a cupped washer is provided, attach the ground wire from the outlet box under the cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread it into the mounting strap.

If the fixture is provided with a ground wire, connect the fixture ground wire to the outlet box ground wire using a wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect the ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

  1. Make wire connections according to the reference chart below

Note: When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) are used, the neutral  wire is square-shaped or ridged, and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth.

  1. Raise the canopy to the ceiling, carefully passing the mounting screws [B] through the mounting screw holes in the canopy. Ensure that wires do not get pinched between the mounting strap and canopy or canopy and ceiling. While holding the canopy in place, use lock washers [E] and
    knobs [F] to secure the canopy [G]. Tighten to secure.

  2. Insert recommended bulbs (not supplied) into the fixture.

  • Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fuse box before starting and during the installation.

WARNING

  1. This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is recommended. Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in serious injury and/or property damage and will void the warranty.

CLEANING

  • Always be certain that electric current is turned off before cleaning.
  • Only a soft damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage the finish

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pass fixture wires from coupling[I] through stem[J] and into canopy[G].

  2. Screw lower end of stem[J] into coupling[I]. Tighten to secure.

  3. Carefully lower shade[K] down onto frame[H].

  7. On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.

  8. On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread into mounting strap. If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect fixture ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

  9. Make wire connections. Reference chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

  10. Raise canopy to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws[B] through mounting screw holes in canopy.
    NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between mounting strap and canopy or canopy and celling

  11.  holding canopy in place, use lock washers[E] and knobs[F] to secure canopy[G]. Tighten to secure.
