Descaling
- Depending on the hardness of the water, limescale deposits will occur sooner or later during the use of the kettle. This is a natural phenomenon and can be prevented by regular cleaning.
- Limescale adversely affects the taste of the water and results in a shortened life of the kettle. We recommend using food-grade citric acid to remove limescale. One pack (20 g) is enough for one cleaning.
- Pour the contents of a 20 g bag of food-grade citric acid into a kettle.
- Fill the kettle with 1.8 liters of water to the MAX mark and bring it to a boil.
- Let the solution stand in the kettle for about 30 minutes.
- Then pour the solution out of the kettle and boil clean water in it before using it again.
