VMEVBT + VMEVCU For a minimal aesthetic. Install a temporary cover first, then
connect and replace with the full cover and unit later
BUILD YOUR HOME EV READY
Install a VMEV Base, and prepare your home to support an
electric vehicle. The VMEV Base allows your home to be prepared for having an
electric vehicle charger in the future and avoids the hassle of retrofitting a
charger into the wall at a later date. Buy the VMEV Charger Unit when you get
an electric vehicle, and after a quick install the house will be good to go.
OPTION 2
VMEVBC + VMEVU Match your VM Series distribution board at the outset. Install the final cover with the base, and install the EV Charger unit later.

Local NZ manufacturing allows for easy customization of these EV chargers to match decor choices. Get it in black to match your home. An array of powder coat colors are also available on request. Volumes apply; please contact our Customisation Team to discuss your next project.
INTEGRATED RDC-DD
The VMEV EV charger comes with an integrated RDC-DD, offering DC protection to the vehicle and the end user. This unit detects DC current leakage between the charger and the vehicle, and if 6mA of DC fault current is detected, disables the charger. Please note: Each EV Charger is still required to be protected by a Type A 30mA RCD at the switchboard, however the integrated RDC-DD removes the need for a Type B RCD.
