OPERATION

Charging the Speaker

  • Plug the provided USB-C cable into the charging port on the speaker.
  • Connect the cable to a USB-C power adapter and connect it to an electrical outlet.
  • The speaker will be fully charged in approximately 6-7 hours.

Bluetooth Mode

  1. Press the power button. The speaker will play an audio tone and the function indicator will flash. The speaker is now in pairing mode.
  2. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and select ‘Kogan Party Speaker’ from the list of found devices.
  3. If prompted to enter a password, enter ‘0000’ and confirm the pairing.
  4. The speaker will play an audio tone and the function indicator will stop flashing when pairing is successful.

TWS Mode

This speaker can be linked to a second speaker (sold separately) to function in TWS ‘True Wireless Stereo’ mode. To activate TWS mode:

  1. Turn on both speakers and ensure the function indicator is flashing on both speakers.
  2. Long press the mode button on one of the speakers. This will be the primary speaker.
  3. The primary speaker will play an audio tone and enter TWS pairing mode. The primary speaker’s function indicator will continue to flash, while the secondary speaker’s function indicator will be solid.
  4. Open Bluetooth settings on your device and select ‘Kogan Party Speaker’ from the list of found devices. If prompted to enter a password, enter ‘0000’ and confirm the pairing.
  5. The primary speaker will play an audio tone when the device is successfully paired to the speakers,
  6. To disable TWS mode and use only one speaker, long press the mode button on one of the speakers.

Note:
The optimal distance for strong connection between the two speakers is approximately 5 meters.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible Cause Solution
The speaker won’t turn on. Low battery. Fully charge the battery before use.
The speaker automatically turns off when in use. Low battery. Fully charge

the battery before use.
The speaker is not charging, and the charging indicator is not illuminated.| Charging cable is not plugged in correctly.| Ensure the charging cable is firmly plugged in to the electrical outlet and the speaker.
The charging cable is damaged.| If the provided charging cable shows any signs of damage, cease use immediately and contact help.Kogan.com for support.
The charging cable is the incorrect voltage.| Use the USB-C charging cable provided, or a 5V-2A charger to charge the speaker.
The speaker isn’t playing sound when paired to my device with Bluetooth.| The volume is low.| Increase the volume.
The speaker is not paired with the device.| Pair the speaker with the device again. Ensure they are in close proximity.
The speaker isn’t playing sound when using a SD card or USB.| The volume is low.| Increase the volume.
The SD card or USB is not inserted correctly.| Ensure the SD card or USB is positioned in the correct direction.
The file format on the SD card or the USB is not supported.| Ensure the file is in MP3 or WMA format.
