BEFORE FIRST USE
Unpacking
Remove the packaging and ensure all components are included. If any components
are missing, contact help.Kogan.com for assistance.
Cleaning
- It is strongly recommended to clean the ice cube maker before first use. Unplug the ice cube maker before cleaning.
- Remove the ice basket.
- Open the drain plug. Clean the interior with a soft cloth soaked with warm water. Rinse with fresh water and drain.
- Clean the exterior of the ice maker with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild dishwashing soap if necessary.
- Dry the interior and exterior of the ice maker with a clean, soft cloth.
Placement
- Place the ice cube maker on a flat surface away from direct sunlight and other heat sources (for example, stoves, radiators). Ensure there is at least a 15cm clearance around the ice cube maker away from walls and other obstructions.
- Allow one hour for the refrigerant liquid to settle before plugging the power cord into a socket.
- For subsequent uses, wait for at least 30 minutes to allow the fluids in the compressor to settle after the ice cube maker is moved or transported.
Notes
- Ensure the ice cube maker is positioned in way that the plug is accessible and visible.
- If the ice cube maker is being brought from the outdoors during winter, allow for a few hours for the appliance to warm to room temperature before plugging in.
OPERATION
WARNING : Do not use any liquid other than drinking water in the ice cube maker.

Ensure that the drain plug is closed well.
-
Open the cover and remove the ice bucket. Pour drinking water into the water reservoir. Ensure the water level is below the ‘MAX’ line marked inside the reservoir.

Replace the ice bucket and the cover.
-
Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. The ring indicator will illuminate red and the ice maker will be in standby.
-
Press the Ice/Clean button to start making ice. The ring indicator will flash white while in operation.
-
When the ice bucket is full, the ice maker will stop operating and the ‘Ice Full’ indicator will illuminate.
-
Remove the cover and use the ice scoop to remove the ice from the ice bucket.
Remove the cover
- Open the back cover by gently pulling the front cover upwards.
Add water to the reservoir
When the ‘Add Water’ indicator is illuminated, this means there is no water in
the reservoir.
- Open the cover and remove the ice bucket.
- Pour drinking water into the water reservoir. Ensure the water level is below the ‘MAX’ line marked inside the reservoir.
- Replace the ice bucket and the cover.
- The ice maker will automatically resume operation after 15-60 minutes. Press the Ice/Clean button to resume in 3 minutes.
Remove ice cubes
- When the ‘Ice Full’ indicator is illuminated, this means the ice bucket is full.
- Open the cover and use the ice scoop to remove the ice cubes.
- The ice maker will automatically resume operation when the ice bucket is emptied.
Ice scoop
Place the ice scoop in the ice scoop holder at the back of the cover.
CLEANING & CARE
It is highly recommended to clean the ice maker when it has not been used in a long time.

Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
-
Move the ice maker so that it is over hangs over the edge of the bench. Remove the drain plug and drain the water into a sink or container
-
Replace the drain plug and return the ice maker to the bench.
-
Remove the cover and the ice bucket and fill the reservoir with water up to the ‘MAX’ line.
-
Optional: Combine a teaspoon of white vinegar and 5 cups of water to create a cleaning solution and pour it into the reservoir.
-
Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet. Replace the cover and the ice bucket and hold the Ice/Clean button for 5 seconds. The ring indicator will flash white and cleaning will start.

The ice maker will automatically stop cleaning after 15 minutes.
If you added a cleaning solution into the reservoir, press the Ice/Clean button after 5 minutes to stop cleaning. Unplug the power cord and then leave the solution in the ice maker for at least 12 hours before draining. -
Move the ice maker so that it is over hangs over the edge of the bench. Remove the drain plug and drain the water into a sink or container.

Replace the drain plug and ensure that it is closed well.

If you added a cleaning solution in step 5, repeat this cleaning process 2 more times with water only to ensure the ice maker is thoroughly cleaned.
Note:
- If the ice cube maker will not be used for an extended period, remove the drain plug and ensure all water is drained out. Wipe the interior dry.
- Store the ice cube maker in a cool, dry place.
- Change water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to ensure it remains hygienic.
