Installation Instructions
-
Step 1: Attach Decorative Arcs to Lower Ring
Align the countersunk holes in the decorative arcs with the threaded holes in the lower ring. Screw the countersunk screws into the aligned holes, but do not fully tighten them at this point. The decorative arcs should be positioned on top of the lower ring with the countersunk holes facing away from the lower ring.
Note: For balance and stability during installation, start by installing the first decorative arc on the lower ring and then the second arc across from the first. Install the remaining decorative arcs using this method. -
Step 2: Attach Decorative Arcs to Upper Plate
Unscrew eight knurled knobs from the upper plate. Pass the threaded studs on the upper plate through the holes in the decorative arcs, then thread the knurled knobs onto the studs. Do not fully tighten the knobs at this point. The upper plate should be positioned below the top ends of the decorative arcs with the threaded studs pointing upward. -
Step 3: Place Socket Cluster Between Upper Plate and Lower Ring
Carefully place the socket cluster inside the decorative arcs between the upper plate and lower ring. Adjust the arcs left or right to create a gap for the socket cluster. -
Step 4: Pass Fixture Wires Through Upper Plate, Center Tube, and Canopy
Pass the fixture wires from the socket cluster through the center hole in the upper plate, center tube, and into the canopy. -
Step 5: Lower Center Tube and Screw into Coupling
Carefully lower the center tube down through the center hole of the upper plate. Pull the fixture wires out through the top of the canopy as the center tube passes through the hole. Screw the center tube into the coupling on the socket cluster. -
Step 6: Align and Secure Canopy to Upper Plate
Lower the canopy onto the upper plate, carefully aligning the knurled knobs on the upper plate with the large holes in the bottom of the canopy. The remaining two threaded studs on the upper plate should align with the small holes in the bottom of the canopy. Rotate the canopy until the studs pass through the canopy holes and the small studs from the upper plate pass into the canopy. -
Step 7: Secure Upper Plate to Canopy
Screw the remaining two knurled knobs onto the threaded studs protruding through the small holes in the canopy. Tighten them to secure the upper plate to the canopy. -
Step 8: Adjust and Secure Decorative Arcs
Adjust the decorative arcs so they are evenly spaced apart. Tighten the six countersunk screws in the lower ring and the six knurled knobs inside the canopy to secure the arcs in place.
FAQ
-
What is the purpose of the decorative arcs?
The decorative arcs add aesthetic appeal to the fixture and hold it together. -
Can I install the decorative arcs in any order?
For balance and stability, it is recommended to start by installing the first decorative arc on the lower ring and then install the second arc across from it. Install the remaining arcs using this method. -
How should I position the decorative arcs on the lower ring?
The decorative arcs should be positioned on top of the lower ring with the countersunk holes facing away from the lower ring. This allows for flush installation of the countersunk screw heads. -
Can I fully tighten the knurled knobs during installation?
It is recommended to not fully tighten the knurled knobs during installation. This allows for adjustments and alignment of the upper plate and canopy.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
-
Attach decorative arcs[L] to lower ring[J] by aligning countersunk holes in decorative arcs with threaded holes in lower ring and screwing countersunk screws[K] into aligned holes.
- NOTE: Do not fully tighten the countersunk screws at this point.
- NOTE: Decorative arcs should be positioned on top of lower ring with the countersunk holes in decorative arcs facing away from lower ring. This will allow the countersunk screw heads to be installed flush with decorative arcs.
- NOTE: For ease of installation, try installing the first decorative arc on the lower ring, and then the second decorative arc across from the first. Install the remaining decorative arcs using this method to help balance the decorative arcs and lower ring assembly and prevent it from tipping over during installation.
-
Unscrew eight (8) knurled knobs[N] from upper plate[H].
-
Attach top ends of a decorative arcs[L] to upper plate[H] by passing threaded studs on upper plate up through holes in arcs, then threading knurled knobs[N] onto threaded studs.
- NOTE: Do not fully tighten knurled knobs at this point.
- NOTE: Upper plate should be positioned below top ends of decorative arcs with threaded studs on upper plate pointing upward.
- NOTE: There should be two (2) knurled knobs remaining, which will be used in a later step.
-
Carefully place socket cluster[I] inside decorative arcs between upper plate[H] and lower ring[J]. Arcs can be adjusted left or right to create a gap for the socket cluster.
-
Pass fixture wires from socket cluster[I] through center hole in upper plate[H], center tube[M], and into canopy[G].
-
Carefully lower center tube[M] down through center hole of upper plate[H]. Pull fixture wires out through top of canopy as center tube passes through center hole in upper plate.
-
Screw center tube[M] into coupling[O] on socket cluster[I].
-
Lower canopy[G] down onto upper plate[H], carefully aligning knurled knobs on upper plate with large holes in bottom of canopy. The two (2) remaining threaded studs on upper plate[H] should be aligned with two (2) small holes in bottom of canopy[G].
NOTE: Canopy[G] will only fit on to upper plate[H] in one orientation. Rotate canopy[G] until studs from upper plate[H] pass through the canopy holes and the two (2) small studs from upper plate[H] pass into the canopy. -
Screw the remaining two (2) knurled knobs[N] onto threaded studs protruding through small holes in canopy and tighten to secure upper plate to canopy.
-
Adjust decorative arcs so they are evenly spaced apart and tighten the six (6) countersunk screws in lower ring and the six (6) knurled knobs inside canopy to secure arcs in place.
-
Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap[A] that align with hole distance in canopy[G]. Assemble mounting screws[B] into threaded holes starting from the outlet box side.
-

-
Grounding instructions: (See Illus. a or b).
- On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
- On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread into mounting strap. If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect fixture ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
- Make wire connections. Reference chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.
-
Raise canopy[G] to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws[B] through holes in canopy[G] and upper plate[H].
NOTE: Make sure wires do not get pinched between mounting strap and canopy or between canopy and ceiling. -
While holding canopy in place, use lock washers[E] and smooth knobs[F] to secure canopy to ceiling. Tighten to secure.
-
