Portable Recorder

OVERVIEW

Thank you for purchasing this camera, D5S is a professional mini HD WiFi camera with built-in WiFi module and supports wireless network protocol. This product can record video images; the playback speed of 30fps makes the picture clearer and smoother. The storage medium uses a compact TF card, which can be played through a computer or a high-definition TV. Please keep this instruction manual properly. STRUCTURE

OPERATION

Power on
Long press power button for 3 seconds. Red / blue indicator light flash quickly for 3 times, then blue light will be off, red light will flash slowly, the camera starts recording.
Power Off
Long press power button for 3 seconds. Red/blue indic ator light flash quickly for 3 times, then camera stops recording.
Red/Blue Indicator Light Working Status
Blue light: Flashing Slowly – In Charging;
Steadily lights – Fully Charged.
Red light: Flashing Slowly – Recording;
Quick flash – Emergency recording;
Steadily lights – Stop recording.
※ The camera has built-in G Sensor. If G-Sensor is triggered, camera will record emergency video and the video file name will be GSR-XXXX. “GSR” emergency videos can only be saved up to 10. If there are more than 10, the earliest emergency video will be deleted.
Low Battery Mode
When the battery of the recorder is low, the red indicator light flashes once every 5 seconds to indicate that the battery is low.
Charging Mode

1. The blue indicator light flashes slowly, the recorder is charging; the blue indicator light is on, the recorder is fully charged. The recorder charger should use a 5V/2A and above charger to charge the recorder. Chargers with fast charging function are not recommended to charge the recorder.
2. The recorder can be connected to a computer. The recorder will start charging when connected. After inserting the memory card, it can be used as a USB flash drive, and the video files in the memory card can be browsed directly on the computer.
3. When plugging in the charger to charge, the recorder will record while charging. If you don’t want to record the camera when charging, you can long press the power off button. The recorder will be turned off, only charging the recorder, not recording.

Turn on/off WiFi

1. When the recorder is not connected to an external power supply, the WiFi function is turned off. If you want to connect to WiFi, you need to wait until the recorder is turned on. Double-click the power button, the blue indicator light will be on, WiFi will be turned on. Double-click the power button again, the blue indicator will turn off, and the WiFi will be turned off.
2. If the WiFi is turned on, but the APP is not used to connect it, the recorder will automatically turn off the WiFi function after 3 minutes.
3. When the recorder is connected to the external power supply, the WiFi is turned on by default. You do not need to double-click the power button to turn on WiFi .

Capture Feature

1. When the recorder is not connected to an external power supply, press the power button manually, and short press the power button once after the recorder is turned on. The recorder will directly start recording emergency video and take a photo at the same time. And the red indicator will flash quickly. The video file name is KEY-XXXX. “KEY” emergency videos can only be saved up to 10. If there are more than 10, the earliest emergency video will be deleted.The video file name is KEY-XXXX.

Check Battery Leve
When the recorder is on, short press the power button once.
Blue indicator flashes once, indicating that the remaining power is 25%;
Blue indicator flashes twice, indicating that the remaining power is 50%;
Blue indicator flashes 3 times, indicating that the remaining power is 75%;
Blue indicator flashes 4 times, indicating that the battery is 100%.
TF Card Slot

1. Insert a TF card into the card slot in the right directions until it clicks.
2. When removing TF card, please gently press the TF card, then take it out after the TF card is ejected.
3. Please take care of the TF card insert direction.If TF card is inserted reversely, both camera and TF card will be damaged.
4. If the TF card is not compatible with the camera, please re-insert another TF card and try again.
5. Please use a high-speed TF card (CLASS 10 and above).

WiFi Function Introduction
Supports mobile APP synchronization time; Preview the recording video in real time; Playback and delete video files on camera TF card and local video files on phone; System settings and so on. System settings include loop recording/formatting card/system recovery.
Recording Feature

1. When the recorder is not connected to an external  power supply, press the power button manually. After therecorder is turned on, it will automatically record video.
2. If the recorder is connected to an external power supply, it will not automatically record video after the recorder is turned on. You need to manually short press the power button once. The red indicator of the recorder flashes slowly, and the recorder starts recording.

Date and Time Setting
Sync time with mobile APP. First turn on the camera WiFi, after mobile phone is connected to camera WiFi successfully, then open the APP on mobile phone,The time of the phone will be automatically synchronized to the camera.

Mobile APP Installation and Operation Instruction

The WiFi APP is a mobile control software used with VSYSTO camera equipment. This software connects to the camera device via Wi-Fi, can preview the playback video directly on the mobile phone, and easily realize the operation of viewing the files in the camera on the mobile phone screen and performing settings and other operations. It subverts the control mode of traditional cameras and brings you a whole new experience.

Conditions of use and product association:

1. Smart terminal with Android 5.0 or higher or Apple terminal.
2. Purchase a recorder terminal device that uses VSYSTO design scheme, and connect the mobile phone WiFi to the camera correctly DVR WiFi .

※To ensure the normal use of APP functions, please update the APP to the latest version in time.
Connection Steps:

1. Turn on the recorder, double-click the power button to turn on WiFi.
2. Enter the WiFi setting interface of the phone, find the corresponding WiFi name, and enter the password to connect to WiFi.
3. Open the mobile phone APP, connect the recorder.

Synchronous recorder time
After connecting the phone to the camera WiFi, open the APP.
When the APP prompts “Command succeeded”, it means that the recorder time has been synchronize with the phone time (as shown in the following figure). Live preview(video/photo )
After connect the camera WiFi with mobile phone,open the APP and click “Connect Device” to enter video preview status. In video preview state you can control camera to take video or photo. Click to full screen display(as shown in the figure below ) Playback camera files
Browsing the camera file interface in the “Online” option, click the file you want to playback.
Download or delete camera files
Browsing the camera file interface in the “Online” option, click“EDIT” to select the file that you want to download or delete and then click “Save” or “Delete” below as needed (as shown in the figure below) Local files management
Click to enter the browsing interface of local files to replay/delete the files stored in the mobile phone, and the operation is similar to the online interface. Video File Name
REC-XXXX— Normal recorded videos
GSR-XXXX— Emergency recorded videos
KEY-XXXX— Emergency recorded videos
※The recorder will lock the last 20 emergency recorded videos that are not overwritten by the normal recorded videos. When there are more than 20 emergency video files in the memory card, the earliest emergency video will be automatically deleted.
Camera Parameter Setting
Click to enter parameter setting interface of the camera to set some parameters of the camera in the APP. Among them, you can set the WiFi name and password of the DVR in Setting SSID (as shown below)          

Troubleshooting

※ After setting a new password, what should I do if I forgot it?
Contact customer service for fix firmware.
※ The lens is fuzzy and video is not clear.
Check the appearance of the lens for dirt and dust.
※The device freezes or does not record.
Please press the reset button of the machine with a sharp needle to reset the camera.
※ Camera can be turned on, but doesn’t record
Check whether the TF card is normal, or format it on the computer, or connected to the device WiFi and format it on the APP.

Usage Suggestions
※Please use 5V 2A charger to charge the equipment.
※ It is a normal phenomenon that the device is heated in use.
