Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Allow engine to cool
Before starting the installation, ensure that the engine has cooled down to avoid any risk of burns.
Step 2: Remove firewall-mounted heat shield (if equipped)
If your vehicle has a firewall-mounted heat shield, remove it before proceeding with the installation.
Step 3: Verify and prepare broken manifold bolt
Check if any remaining portion of the broken manifold bolt is protruding past the exhaust manifold surface. If necessary, use a grinder to make it flush with the surface.
Step 4: Attach bracket to rear of cylinder head
Attach the provided bracket to the rear of the cylinder head using the unused factory holes. Apply high temperature thread locking compound to the threads before installation. Tighten the clamp to head mounting bolts to a torque of 30-37 ft-lb (40-50 Nm).
Step 5: Install the clamp
Apply high temperature thread locking compound to the threads on the clamping bolt. Tighten the clamping bolt to a torque of 17-24 ft-lb (23-33 Nm). Only tighten it until the exhaust seals up.
Step 6: Reinstall heat shield and test drive vehicle
Reinstall the heat shield (if removed) and take the vehicle for a test drive. Check for any exhaust leaks. If needed, tighten the clamping bolt further to eliminate any leaks.

STEP 1:
