the OxyPure, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
- ONLY use the OxyPure for its intended purpose.
- To protect against the risk of electrical shock, DO NOT immerse the cord, plug, or any part of the OxyPure in water or any other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when the OxyPure is used by or near children. The OxyPure is not intended for use by children, persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or those who lack expertise or knowledge of this device.

- DO NOT plug the OxyPure into an outlet or power strip that is being used by other appliances.
- Remove any dust or water from the plug, if needed.
- ALWAYS set up the OxyPure on a flat, stable surface.
- DO NOT set up the OxyPure where it could be pushed, kicked, or tripped over.
- Leave at least 2-3 feet of space between the OxyPure’s vents and any walls.

- DO NOT operate the OxyPure on its side.
- DO NOT place objects on top of the OxyPure.

reduce the risk of electric shock, do not perform any servicing other than
that contained in the operating instructions unless you are qualified to do

Power-Supply Cords
A short, detachable power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of
becoming entangled in, or tripping over, a longer cord. Longer detachable
power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use. If a longer, detachable power-supply cord or extension
cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.

| FAN SPEED| FAN SPEED has two functions. First, it controls the fan speed
from low to high. Simply press it until you reach the fan speed you want.
Pressing it a 5th time returns you to Fan Speed 1. Second, to use the Pet Lock
to keep your settings from being accidentally changed, press and hold FAN
SPEED for 1 second. Repeat to unlock the settings again.
| AUTO/ECO| AUTO/ECO lets you use Auto Mode or Eco Mode (see below). Press it
once for Auto Mode. Press and hold it for Eco Mode. To quit ECO Mode, press
and hold AUTO/ECO for 1 second.
The Power button will be lit Yellow when ECO is selected and AUTO will be lit
green.

8hrs, and 12hrs. Pushing it a seventh time will turn off the Timer but not the
unit. TIMER can be used with AUTO, FAN SPEED, and TURBO (see below).

INSTRUCTIONS
MANUAL FAN SPEED MODE • TURBO MODE
AUTO Mode
AUTO Mode runs the OxyPure automatically in accordance with the current air
quality. To use it:
-
Tap AUTO/ECO once to turn on AUTO mode.
The upper half circle LED will turn on to indicate that AUTO Mode is active. -
The unit will operate, automatically adjusting the Fan Speed according to current air quality, increasing when the air is dirty, decreasing as the air gets cleaner.
-
When you wish to deactivate AUTO Mode, simply press AUTO/ECO again.
The OxyPure will revert to manual FAN SPEED Mode and run at the lowest fan speed.
Note
Regardless of operating mode, pressing AUTO/ ECO once will turn the mode on,
and pressing it again will turn the mode off.
AUTO and FAN SPEED
You cannot use the FAN SPEED button while in AUTO Mode because pressing FAN
SPEED in that case will take you out of AUTO Mode and return you to manual FAN
SPEED Mode.
While in manual FAN SPEED Mode, if you press AUTO/ECO, the OxyPure will switch
to AUTO Mode, and it will remain in AUTO Mode until changed again.
AUTO and TIMER
While the OxyPure is running in AUTO Mode, you can set the unit’s operating
time by pressing the TIMER button, setting a time limit of up to 12 hours.
AUTO and TURBO
You can use AUTO Mode and TURBO Mode together, running in TURBO Mode for a
time and then switching to AUTO Mode, running at the lowest Fan Speed. See the
following page for more information.
FAN SPEED LEVEL | FAN SPEED RPM | AIR QUALITY READING | PM SENSOR READING |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 300 | GREEN | 0 – 10 |
2 | 850 | ORANGE | 11 – 30 |
3 | 1050 | BURGUNDY | 31 – 50 |
4 | 1500 | RED | OVER 50 |
ECO Mode
Like AUTO Mode, ECO Mode also responds to changes in Air Quality.
However, because it does not run the fan continuously, ECO Mode is a real
energy- and money-saver. To use it:
- Press and hold the AUTO/ECO button for 1 second. The OxyPure will beep, the lower half circle LED will turn on to indicate that ECO Mode is active while the rest of the panel goes dark, and the fan will turn off.
- When the air quality is bad (PM2.5 level over 50), the OxyPure will turn on automatically and go into AUTO Mode. The Power LED will be lit yellow, and AUTO/ECO LED will be lit white.
- When the air quality is good (PM2.5 level under 5), the OxyPure will automatically turn off again.be turned off automatically.
To quit ECO Mode, press and hold AUTO/ECO for 1 second.

Measuring Air Quality: The OxyPure Sensors
The OxyPure measures the indoor Air Quality in your home using a PM2.5
benchmark for particle pollution. “PM” stands for “Particulate Matter”, an
airborne mixture of solid particles and liquid droplets. “2.5” is the particle
size in microns. So, PM2.5 describes fine, easily inhalable particles like
dust, pollen, mold, smoke, organic compounds and metals.
The sensors measure these particles in the air, display the results on the
control panel, and activate and adjust the fan to eliminate any Air Quality
issues.
Did you know…?
HEPA filters were developed in the 1940s to protect lab workers on the
Manhattan Project from the very dangerous radioactive dust their work was
generating. They work like this: As air is pushed through them, any particles
are trapped in the fine mesh of the filter and will not be rereleased into the
air. These particles are as small as 0.3 microns, or 0.00011811 inches. That’s
a particle that is HEPA Filter Basics, LadyofHats, Public domain, via
Wikimedia Commons a little over 23 times smaller than a human hair and a True
HEPA filter, like those in the OxyPure HEPA, will capture 99% of particles
that size or larger!
MANUAL FAN SPEED
This is the basic operating mode for the OxyPure, the one that activates the first time you start the unit, allowing you to manually operate the Fan Speed without worrying about the automatic modes or settings. There’re 4 Fan Speeds:

1 | 300 |
2 | 850 |
3 | 1050 |
4 | 1500 |

quickly clean, and then maintain, your indoor air quality. To use it, simply
press TURBO one or more times (see above) and then press AUTO/ECO for AUTO
Mode or press and hold AUTO/ECO for ECO Mode.
- Press TURBO once and then AUTO/ECO: The unit will run in TURBO Mode for 30 min, then AUTO (ECO) Mode until changed.
