Wearing earmuffs
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! This product contains metallic components that may increase the risk of electricity hazards.
Important:
- For optimal protection, ear cushions should fit firmly around the head and form a good seal around the ears.
- Anything that interferes with the seal such as long hair (pull back as far as possible), thick or poorly fitting eyeglass temples, pencils, or caps, will reduce protection.
- Do not bend or reshape the headband as this will affect the fit and cause sound leakage.
- The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the earmuffs.
- Pull the cups outward and position the hearing protector over your ears so that the cushions fully enclose the ears and form a secure seal against the head.
Cleaning and care
Important:
- If the following recommendations are not followed, both attenuation and function may be impaired.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They damage the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
- Do not immerse the product in water.
- Clean the outside of the earmuff regularly with soap and lukewarm water.
- Do not store the earmuff in temperatures above 40 °C (e.g., behind a windshield or window).
- Earmuffs must be regularly inspected for cracked or worn parts and replace as needed. The typical life for foam cushions is 6 months.
- Store the earmuffs in a clean and dry plastic container (bag or box) when you are not using them.
