The BY-GM12 is a desktop-mounted gooseneck microphone with USB output. With the excellent cardioid polar pattern, the BY-GM 12 can clearly capture the voice in front of the mic, designed to provide clear and intelligible speech reproduction for lectures, video conferences, meetings, and more.
The BY-GM12 features a clear status indicator and convenient mute. A 3.5 mm headphone output lets you monitor your audio in real-time, and a gain control knob allows you to adjust microphone input gain. The gooseneck enables you to precisely position the capsule in front of the speaker for optimal sound. The BY-GM12 runs off USB plug-in power. This means that no batteries are required to operate.

How to Use

1. Connect the microphone to your laptop with the included USB-A to USB-C cable. Mic is activated, and the indicators light on (default state).
2. Pressthe ” ” button to mute the microphone, and the indicators will turn off. Press the ” ” button again to activate the microphone, and the indicators will turn orange.
3. Connect to your headphones to monitor your audio in real-time.
4. Adjust to the appropriate base. microphone input gain by rotating the knob on the base
5. You are ready to record.

Procedure Setup
Setup for Mac

1. Connect the BY-GM12 to your laptop with the included USB-A to USB-C cable.
2. 0pen System Preferences and select the Sound icon.
3. Select “BY-GM12” under the “Input” tab.
4. Select “BY-GM12” under the “Output” tab,

Setup for Windows

1. Connect the BY-GM12 to your laptop with the included USB-A to USB-C cable
2. Go tothe Control Panel >Hardware and Sound —>Manage audio devices.
3. Select “BY-GM12” as the default device under the “Playback” tab.
4. Select “BY-GM12” as the default device under the “Recording” tab.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter problems when using the unit, please refer to the following checkiist before contacting technical support. If the problem cannot be solved, please contact the dealer’s after-sales service department.

• If there s no sound from the nit or no sound when connected to a computer or smartphone (DMake sure your device is well connected with the unit and the unit model displayed on your device is “BY-GM12″  (2Make sure the external device is not muted or its volume is not turned to the minimum. (3)Make sure the unit is not muted (the LED indicator is off when muted). Pressthe ” ( ) ” button to unmute it.

• If sound of the unit s too low or too loud or even distorted Rotate the gain control knob to adjust the mic gain and find the most suitable gain level for recording in the current situation to improve the recording effect.

• Feled to connect to a smartphone
  Make sure the “OTG” of the smartphone has been enabled.
  If the smartphone is till not recognized, please contact our customer service.

• Current noise or other abnormal noise appears during monitoring (LReplace the connecting cable. Make sure there is no interference near the unit. If the noise still exists after changing the unit’s position, please contact our customer service.

• Unable to adjust volume during playback ‘The gain control knob of the unit can only adjust the mic input gain. The volume during playback can be adjusted on the exteral device such as a computer or smartphone.
