Accessories
BLOODY MARY
Ingredients
- 2-3 ice cubes
- 50ml vodka
- 90ml tomato juice
- 15ml lemon juice
- salt & pepper
- Worcestershire sauce
- Tabasco sauce
Preparation
Add everything to mixing glass, tumble gently and pour into tall glass.
Garnish with celery stick & lemon wedge.
PINA COLADA
Ingredients
- 37.5ml white rum
- 12.5ml coconut rum
- 75ml pineapple juice
- 12.5ml coconut cream
- 12.5ml double cream
Preparation
Add everything to mixing glass with ice and shake well. Fine strain over ice.
Garnish with fruit or pineapple Leaf.
MAI TAI
Ingredients
- 50ml white rum
- 12.5ml orange
- Curac;ao
- 25ml lime juice
- 12.5ml almond syrup
- 1 bar spoon of sugar syrup
Preparation
Add ingredients to mixing glass with ice, shake well and strain into ice
filled glass. Garnish with mint leaf and lime wedge.
MARGARITA
Ingredients
- 25ml tequila
- 25ml triple sec
- 25ml lime juice
- 1 bar spoon of sugar syrup
Preparation
Put all ingredients into mixing glass. Fill with ice, cap with shaker and
shake well for a few seconds. Fine strain into a glass frosted with salt.
Garnish with slice of lime.
SEX ON THE BEACH
Ingredients
- Ice cubes
- 25ml vodka
- 25ml peach schnapps
- 87.5ml orange juice
- Grenadine
Preparation
Place ice, vodka, schnapps and orange juice into mixing glass. Cap with shaker
and shake well. Pour into glass and drizzle grenadine on top. Garnish with a
lime wedge.
COSMOPOLITAN
Ingredients
- Ice cubes
- 30ml vodka
- 15ml triple sec
- 15ml lime juice
- 15ml cranberry juice
Preparation
Pour all ingredients into mixing glass with ice, shake well and strain into
martini glass. Garnish with slice of lime.
KENTUCKY ROYALE
Ingredients
- Ice
- 30ml bourbon
- 20ml Chambord
- 1 5ml lemon juice
- ginger beer
- fresh raspberries, a handful
Preparation
Put a handful of ice into a cocktail shaker with the bourbon, Chambord, and
Lemon juice. Strain over ice into a highball glass and top with ginger beer.
Garnish with fresh raspberries.
SWEET THAI BASIL SMASH COCKTAIL
Ingredients
- 40ml gin
- 20ml sugar syrup
- 15ml Mandarin Napoleon liqueur
- 20ml lemon juice
- egg white
- Thai basil, a few leaves
- Ice
Preparation
For each cocktail, muddle everything together In a cocktail shaker. Add Ice,
shake well, and strain into a cocktail glass over ice. Add extra basil and a
slice of lemon to serve.
NEW YORK SOUR
Ingredients
- 60ml rye or bourbon whiskey
- 30ml fresh lemon juice
- 20ml simple syrup
- (one part sugar, one part water)
- 150ml red wine
Preparation
Add all the ingredients, except the wine, to a cocktail shaker and pack with
ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a squat tumbler filled with fresh ice
cubes. Add your red wine ‘float’ in a neat layer on top. The best way to do
this is to hold a tablespoon upside down over the glass, barely touching the
surface of the drink. Then, slowly pour the wine over the back of the spoon so
that it cascades gently onto the top of the drink without sinking beneath the
surface.
ICED MINT AND APPLE TEA
Ingredients
- 2 tea bags
- 7000ml golden caster sugar
- 2 apples, cored and chopped
- 2000ml brandy
- 600ml soda water
- mint (a small handful of leaves}
Preparation
Put the tea bags into a jug and pour in 300ml boiling water. Steep for l
minute, and then remove the tea bags. Stir in the sugar and apples. Cover and
leave to cool, then put in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight. Strain the
tea, discarding the apples and stir in the brandy. Pour into glasses and add
the mint and some ice. Top up with soda water.
