Description

  • Ohuhu heat transfer vinyl, or HTV for short, is a specialty vinyl polymer that can be used on certain fabrics and materials to create designs and promotional products.
  • These vinyl sheets have adhesive backings/clear protective films so they can be cut, weeded, and placed on a substrate for heat application.

HOW to USE Ohuhu Heat Transfer Vinyl

Distinguish each layer and side of the heat transfer vinyl before cutting.

  1. There are 2 layers for an ordinary heat transfer vinyl sheet. The A side attached to the clear protective film is the ironing surface, while the B side is the cutting surface.Ohuhu-82000-05-CA-0519-Heat-Transfer-Vinyl-42-Pack-FIG-2

Craft cutter settings
Please do a test cut to craft the cutter settings before creating and cutting your design. Load a heat transfer vinyl into your cutting machine with the B side facing up, then turn on the machine to start cutting. Be careful to adjust the cutting blade to cut through the vinyl sheet but won’t cut through the clear protective film.

Create and cut your design
Search for your favoured patterns and send them to the cutting machine. Switch on the machine and start to cut your design.

Weed the extra parts
Once your design is cut, you can weed away any part of the design you don’t want to with a weeding tool (like tweezers, not included). Therefore, only what you want is left on the clear protective film.

Heating/Iron on
Check whether the target object is suitable for the heat press machine or electric iron before ironing. Please do a test ironing using a small piece of vinyl pattern to test the temperature and pressure before DIY.

Peel off the clear protective film

  • Peel the clear protective film after your design is warm or cool (better to peel it when it’s warm). If the design lifts, replace the protective film on the design for another 10 seconds of ironing.
  • After peeling, flip your textile inside out and heat it for 3-5 seconds to ensure a more stable application.

It’s ready for wear or use if the pattern is applied well.

  • There’s no better way to add variety and personalization to your belongings than with these vinyl decals, which can be applied to clothes, shoes, hats, bags, and cases.
  • Use patterns and different colours to add extra spice to your life!
