Before getting started, please ensure the package contains the components below:

Packing List

Precautions for Installation

• Remove the packaging film on the product.
• Please check and see if there is any damage on the product.
• Please check and see if any installation components is missing.
• Make sure the thickness of the door is between 1-3/B”and 1-3/4″ (35mm-45mm).

Left- or Right- Handed Door Installation

Stand outside and face the door:

• if the hinges are installed on the left, the door is left-handed.
• if the hinges are installed on the right, the door is right-handed.

Tools to Prepare

2-1/8″ (54mm)

Drill Hole Saw

| Electronic Drills| 1″ (25mm)

Drill Bit

| 3/8″(1Omm) Drill Bit|

Stand Outside and Face the Door

• Fold the supplied template along the fold line and place on the exterior side of your door.
• Mark the location of the new holes on your door according to the template, and then drill the holes.

INSTALLATION

• Step 1: Drill Holes into the Door

  • CD Measure and check that the diameter of the hole in the door is 2-1/8″(54mm)
  • Measure and check that the backset if either 2-3/8″ or 2-3/4″ (60mm or 70mm)
  • Measure and check that the diameter of the side hole in the door is 1 “(25mm)
  • Mark for 1-3/8″ (35mm)or 1-3/4″ (45mm) Door
    Insert the latch and ensure it is parallel to the face of the door. Mark the out line of the face plate, and then take out the latch.
    Chisel 5/32″ (4 mm) deep along the outline to allow the face plate to be aligned with the door edge.

• Step 2: Adjust the Length of the Latch

  • Determine if the latch needs to be adjusted to the 2-3/4R (70mm) backset.
  • To adjust, rotate the latch until it stops.
  • Reverse the direction to return to the 2-3/8″ (60mm) backset.

• Step 3: Install the Deadbolt Latch Set

  • Use two 3/4″ (20mm) screws to tighten the latch into the door. Do not over-tighten.
  • Use two 3/4″ (20mm) screws to tighten the latch into the door. Do not over-tighten.

• Step 4: Install the Exterior Deadbolt

• Step 5: Install the Interior Deadbolt

• Step 6: Install the Exterior Handle

• Step 7: Install the Interior Handle

• Step 8: Install the Cover

• Step 9: Install Strikes

Troubleshooting

• Is this product suitable for left- or right-handed door?

  • How can I determine if the door is left- or right-handed?

• Yes, it is suitable for both left-and right-handed door.
  To determine the handing of your door ,please stand outside the door and face the door:

  • If the hinges are installed on the left, the door is left-handed.
  • If the hinges are installed on the right, the door is right-handed.

• The screw is too long or too short to be installed.

  • Please match the screws in different sizes according to different positions in strict  accordance with the instructions.

• After the Installation, I can only open the door with the button or the handle, but the deadbolt can’t work.

  • Please make sure the lacth of the deadbolt is installed in the middle of the rotation axis.

• Determine if the latch needs to be adjusted to the 2-3/4″ (70mm) backset.

  • Please make sure the key hole is back to its original position before installing the lock.
