Product Information

The AENO ARC0004S Robot Vacuum Cleaner is a household device designed for automatic cleaning of premises. It comes with a supply package that includes the robot vacuum cleaner, charging base with a combined self-cleaning station, dust bag, container, fabric cover module, fabric cover, side brush, HEPA filter, pre-filter, power cord, and vacuum cleaner care brush. The vacuum cleaner is intended for domestic use only and is not designed to pick up building dust and debris, flammable and/or volatile substances, smoking and/or burning materials, or sharp objects. It is important to read the safe use guidelines before using the device.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Make sure the rated voltage and frequency indicated in the technical documentation correspond to the parameters of the main supply.
  2. Charge the device for at least 5.5 hours before using it for the first time.
  3. Use only the original and manufacturer-recommended battery, charging base, accessories, consumables, and/or replacement parts.
  4. Do not leave the device switched on without supervision.
  5. Do not plug the device into the power supply with wet hands.
  6. Keep pets away from the device when it is in operation.
  7. Do not place the device in places where it can easily fall off.
  8. If the body of the vacuum cleaner becomes too hot while charging, stop the charging process and contact the service center.
  9. The water tank can only be filled with purified water. Do not add fragrances, detergents, alcohol, or hot water to the water tank.
  10. Do not wet-clean on carpeting.
  11. The vacuum cleaner must be turned on and charged to run on a schedule.
  12. Do not use the device if it has been in water or if its charging base, battery, power cord, and/or plug is damaged.
  13. Never attempt to disassemble and/or repair the device by yourself. It should be repaired by a qualified technician.
  14. Do not allow children to use and/or play with the vacuum cleaner without supervision.

Preparing the Device for Operation

  1. Remove the plugs on the sides of the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Attach the side brush.
  3. Place the charging base on a flat, stable, horizontal surface.

Safe use guidelines

  1. Remove the plugs on the sides of the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Attach the side brush.
  3. Place the charging base on a flat, stable, horizontal surface.
    • WARNING! Make sure that the self-cleaning station has a dust bag installed and that the station cover is tightly closed.
  4. Connect the charging base to the mains by inserting the plug of the power cord into the base and the plug of the power cord into the power outlet.
  5. Make sure that the container is inserted into the body of the vacuum cleaner and proceed to charge. Connect the pins on the container to the pins on the base for charging, as shown in Figure C. If the vacuum cleaner is positioned correctly, the LED on the base will start flashing. When charging is complete, the LED will light steadily.

Control the vacuum cleaner with the buttons on the body
WARNING! Remove any hazardous objects, power cords, or items of value from the floor before using the vacuum cleaner. Press and hold the “Start/Stop” button for 3 seconds to turn the power on.
The vacuum cleaner will go into standby mode. Select the type of cleaning:

  1. dry cleaning. Press the “Start/Stop” button to start the cleaning;
  2. wet cleaning (Fig. D).AENO-ARC0004S-Robot-Vacuum-Cleaner-FIG-1 \(5\) Remove the container from the body of the vacuum cleaner by first clamping the latch on the container. Open the water tank, fill at least 2/3 of the tank with purified water, and close the valve firmly. Attach the fabric overlay to the module. Fasten the module with the overlay to the container. Insert the container back into the body of the vacuum cleaner. The device is ready for the wet cleaning. Press the “Start/Stop” button to start the cleaning. You can additionally control the water supply from the AENO application.
  3. Press the “Start/Stop” button again to pause the cleaning. If no operation is performed for 10 minutes, the vacuum cleaner enters sleep mode and all indicators turn off. You can resume cleaning by pressing the “Start/Stop” button again. After pressing the “Base” button the vacuum cleaner returns to the base for charging.
    • NOTE;  Automatically returns to the base to recharge after you finish the cleaning and when the battery is low. After recharging, the cleaner will resume the cleaning from where it was interrupted.

Connecting to the AENO mobile app

  • Connect your smartphone to a Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz).
  • Connect the charging base to the mains. Make sure that the container is inserted into the body of the vacuum cleaner. Connect the pins on the container to the pins on the base.
  • Log in to your AENO app account or register a new one. You can download the application from Google Play or from the App Store.
  • On the main application screen, tap “Add a device” or “+” and “Add a device”. In the window that opens, select the “Vacuum Cleaner” category.
    • NOTE. If a system prompts you to turn on any functions on your smartphone, do so.
  • Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password if the fields are not filled in automatically. Click the “Next” button.
  • On the control panel of the vacuum cleaner press and hold the “Base” button until the button’s light starts flashing. On the smartphone screen, check the “LED indicator blinks” box and tap “Next”.
  • Wait for the connection process to complete and click “Done”.
    • NOTE. If the connection to the app fails, make sure the device is connected to a power source, turned on and charged, check the Wi-Fi router settings at aeno.com/router-help, and reconnect.

WARNING! Disconnect the base in advance to charge it from the mains.

  1. Open the cover of the self-cleaning station.
  2. Remove the bag by pulling the cardboard closure.
  3. Install the new bag as shown in the illustration. Make sure that the suction port on the gate is open. Close the station lid tightly.

  1. Remove the container from the body of the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Pour the remaining liquid out of the water tank.
  3. Empty the contents of the dust tank into the trash.
  4. Clean the HEPA filter and pre-filter with a dry brush or cloth.
    • WARNING! Do not wash the dust tank and HEPA filter with water.
  5. Remove and rinse the side brush and cloth overlay with warm water.
  6. Remove hair and debris from the brush roll with the care brush supplied with the vacuum cleaner. Dry the component parts away from heaters. Make sure all the parts are completely dry before reinstalling.

Troubleshooting

  1. The vacuum cleaner is not charging – the charging base is not plugged in; dirty contacts on the base and/or cleaner container. You should check the power cable connection to the base and the power supply, and wipe the pins with a soft, dry cloth.
  2. The vacuum cleaner returns to the base to recharge before the end of the cleaning – the battery charge is less than 20 %. The vacuum cleaner should be charged.
  3. The suction power has decreased – the dust tank is full; the filter and/or roller brush is clogged. The dust tank, filter, and/or roller brush should be cleaned.
    • WARNING! If none of the possible solutions solves your problem, please contact your local supplier or the service center for support. Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the device yourself.
