Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation, make sure that the supporting surface can handle the weight of your TV and the mount. Refer to the caution on page two for load limits.
- Choose the appropriate template from the provided options to match your TV size and VESA pattern.
- If you are mounting on a wood stud wall:
- Mark the locations for the lag bolts (O) using the template.
- Drill pilot holes with a 7/32 (5.5 mm) drill bit.
- Attach the wall plate assembly to the wall using the lag bolts. Make sure each lag bolt is located in the middle of a wood stud and tighten them until the wall plate is snug against the wall. Do not over-tighten.
- If you are mounting on a concrete or brick wall:
- Make sure the wall is at least 4 inches thick.
- Mark the locations for the concrete anchors (N) using the template.
- Drill pilot holes with a 3/8 (10 mm) masonry drill bit.
- Insert the concrete anchors into the pilot holes and make sure they are seated completely flush with the surface.
- Attach the wall plate covers to conceal the mounting hardware.
- If needed, use the provided plastic spacers to provide clearance around protrusions on the back of your TV or to accommodate a curved TV. Longer screws may be required when using spacers.
- Make final adjustments to ensure the TV is level and securely mounted.
- Ensure that the TV is not left resting on the screen. It should be supported by a wall mount or a TV stand.

Select TV Screws and Spacers
-
A–I Select Screws
The back of your TV has 4 screw holes in a square or rectangular pattern. This is where the mount will attach to your TV. Kanto provides several sizes and lengths of screws. This guide will help you select the right screws for your TV. You will only use 4 of the provided screws to attach your TV – the rest are not needed. -
J–K Select Spacers
Plastic spacers are also provided in 2 thicknesses to allow the mount to work with curved TVs, and TVs that have recessed mount holes, protrusions, or inputs in the way. They can also be used to prevent the TV screws from going too deep and damaging your TV. You may not need spacers for your TV.
Select Spacers for Irregular TVs
Spacers can be used to provide clearance around protrusions on the back of your TV, or to accommodate a curved TV. You may need to use longer screws.
