Enter the password for your home network. After successful connection, the WiFi symbol will appear on the front panel display. In case of wired connection, another symbol will indicate that the Internet connection has been established.

GOOGLE PLAY APP STORE
Sign into your Google Account to install various apps on your device to suit your individual needs. Proceed as you did on your mobile phone before. If you cannot install certain programs or they do not work properly, you have the option to install and run alternative app stores from your browser (e.g., Aptoid, Amazon App Store, Getjar, APK Pure, APK Genie…), provided that you grant this permission and unlock the security restriction.

SETTINGS / APPLICATIONS / SETTINGS AND RESTRICTIONS
As this is not a mobile phone, but uses an operating system designed for the same purposes, the standard solution is the same as you can see on similar devices. You can find more information on the Internet. Among the popular video streaming services, we have tested YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime installed from the Google Play and Aptoid stores. When subscribed, these worked at least in SD resolution. HBO GO could not be activated when this product was launched. The manufacturer of this product has no influence on services provided by third parties, or their availability, status, updates or image quality. Please, consider this before purchasing the unit. For video playback, we recommend the KODI player that ensures HD and ULTRA HD 4K resolutions.

LED LIGHT SHOW
You can customize or turn off the RGB light effect built into the bottom of the device. Select the LED CONTROL icon, then use the Up/Down and OK buttons to select the dynamic light effect or stationary light you like.

RESETTING THE UNIT
If the device functions abnormally, you may need to restart it or clear all microprocessor data. In case of a malfunction, restart the device by disconnecting from the mains and then putting it into use again. Restarting from the menu: SETTINGS / DEVICE SETTINGS / RESTART. If the problem persists:

Do not allow liquids to spill on or enter the device. It does not require any special maintenance; if you experience a fault, please turn it off and contact an expert.

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed of separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.

DISPOSING OF OFALKALINEAND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment- friendly way.

PUTTING INTO USE

The product is compatible with smartphones. Accordingly, at the time of writing of this description, it is assumed that the user has the general knowledge necessary for handling smartphones and the Internet. Settings and use are quite similar to that of smartphones or tablet computers. A basic command of the English language may be necessary. The device has complex features. Its operation is influenced by many external software, hardware, service provider, location and environment-related factors that are outside the manufacturer’s control. Malfunctions may occur that are not deficiencies of the unit. The operating system and other software or services required for the operation of the device are supplied by third parties whose current status, changes, development efforts, updates or functioning are outside the control of the manufacturer of this product. For this reason, full functioning cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances. The quality of the various audio or video files may vary due to different parameters. When using a third-party service (e.g., TV broadcast, video streaming), the available image resolution may be limited compared to using the unit as a media player. When this product is introduced on the market, the following popular services can be used with at least SD resolution: YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. High definition is usually not available on similar devices. An Internet connection is required to access the most possible features. Applications from various sources and the connection of external devices may damage the unit. Use caution and seek professional advice where necessary.

Connect the HDMI cable used for a TV set first to the unit, and then to the TV. Switch your TV to HDMI input. If you are planning to use wired Internet connection, also plug the UTP cable into the ETHERNET socket. If you wish to use external storage devices, connect the flash drive, memory card or hard disk drive to the USB or CARD socket. If you have a mouse or keyboard, plug them into the USB port. Plug the AC adapter to the mains and the power cable into the device (DC) after these only. Wait for the operating system to boot up, and then start to use the device.

  • You can use the HDMI cable to connect a TV, monitor or projector.
  • You can connect an older TV set without HDMI connector to the unit using the AV output by purchasing a 3.5mm/RCA or a 3.5mm/SCART adapter.
  • You can connect the sound of the device to a hi-fi system, amplifier or active sound box using the AV output and a suitable connecting cable.
  • If your amplifier or sound box has an optical input, use the OPTICAL jack to output the sound.
