Product Information

The CP-4 2-LBCP-42BZ-LB Series Resettable Call Point is a device used for triggering alarms or emergency calls. It features a green/red backlight and a built-in buzzer for audio alerts. The call point operates at a voltage of 12/24VDC and has dimensions of 87x91x53 mm (with clear plastic cover). It has a contact resistance of 100m and a rating of up to 3A 125VAC / 1.5A 250VAC. The call point also includes a limit switch contact output and comes with a reset key for easy resetting. The product also includes an electromagnetic lock for secure locking and unlocking. It has a normal state and can produce buzzer alarms when activated. The call point is available in various plastic case colors: green, red, white, yellow, and blue. The backlight illumination indicates the normal state (green) and activation (red) of the call point.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before installation, ensure you have the necessary power supply of 12 or 24 VDC.
2. To install the CP-42 call point using mortise mount:
3. Remove the plastic cover and separate the main body from the base.
4. Use the reset key to split the main body into two pieces.
5. Take off the plastic cover lid and separate the top piece from the middle piece.
6. Use pliers to remove the hooks from the middle piece.
7. Install the hex nut on the middle piece followed by the spacer.
8. Install the top piece while minding the spring in the middle.
9. Click the plastic cover back on the front side.
10. Align the middle piece with the mounting box and secure it with two screws.
11. Tighten the machine screw to the hex nut.
12. The main body is now secured to the mounting box.
13. Close the plastic cover lid with the bottom secured as shown.
14. Installation is now complete.
15. To install the CP-42 call point using surface mount:
16. Follow steps 1-5 from the mortise mount installation instructions.
17. Use a self-drilling screw to secure the main body to the desired surface.
18. Proceed with steps 7-12 from the mortise mount installation instructions.

Note: It is recommended to use a 1 gang flush mount box conformed to BS4662 for the installation, which is not included with the product.

Installation Instruction

Recommend using 1 gang flush mount box conformed to BS4662 (Not included)

1. Take off the plastic cover and separate the main body from the base.
2. Use the reset key to split the main body into two pieces.
3. Install the hex nut on the middle piece followed by the spacer as shown.
4. Use a plier to remove the hooks of the middle piece as shown.
5. Align the middle piece and the mounting box and secure with two screws.
6. Install the top piece as shown minding the spring in the middle.
7. The main body is now secured to the mounting box.
8. Click the plastic cover back back on the front side.
9. Installation complete.
