OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
W51 Plumbing Heater

A water heated parking heater is a device that uses on-board battery power supply and vehicle oil as fuel, and circulates heat to the vehicle’s engine and water circulation system based on the principle of combustion and heat exchange. The water-heated parking heater has functions such as manual start, timed start, remote control start, and mobile remote start, making it flexible and suitable for different heating needs. Installation and usage precautions
1. Allowable installation angle range
2. Installation of combustion-supporting air intake duct
There is a corrugated hose with an inner diameter of 25 millimeters in the installation component. According to the installation situation, the shortest length of the combustion-supporting air duct cannot be less than 20 centimeters, the maximum length of the combustion-supporting air duct cannot exceed 1.5 meters. Fix it on the heater with a pipe clamp and another end is fixed to the vehicle body with a bracket.
3. Installation of heater exhaust device
The direction of installing the exhaust port should not face the airflow and
should not be blocked by dirt such as mud, rain, or snow.
The installation component contains an exhaust pipe with an inner diameter of
25mm and a length of 40cm. Depending on the installation situation, the
exhaust pipe can be shortened to 20 centimeters or extended to a maximum of 1
meter.
Fix one end of the exhaust pipe to the heater with a pipe clamp, and fix
another end to the vehicle body with a racket
4. Installation and precautions for dosing oil pump
The installation of the oil circuit should preferably be tilted upwards to
facilitate the discharge of gas from the oil circuit. Pay attention to
checking the vent holes of the fuel tank to avoid negative pressure in the
oil tank. Oil pipelines should be located away from heat sources, and should
not be installed near silencers, exhaust pipes, etc. They should be protected
with corrugated pipes and bundled at suitable places with a spacing of no more

Installation angle of metering oil pump
When installing the metering oil pump, always pay attention to the upward
inclination of the oil nozzle, and the installation angle should be greater
than 15°. Priority should be given to the installation angle between 15° and
35°.

- Prioritize the installation angle between 15° and 35°.
- Allow selection of installation angles between 35° and 90°.
Connection of oil pipes
When connecting the oil pipe, after inserting the heater oil nozzle, oil nozzle of the oil pump, oil extractor, and T-shaped tee oil nozzle into the rubber, a seamless connection should be formed with the oil pipe inserted at the other end to avoid the formation of bubbles in the oil circuit, generating noise, and affecting the combustion effect.
Precautions for installation of T-shaped tee components for oil
extraction
The oil extraction tee must be connected between the original vehicle oil tank
and the original vehicle oil pump. It is prohibited to connect between the
fuel pump and the engine of the original vehicle to prevent injecting the fuel
into the heater by high pressure of oil pump of the original vehicle, causing
great danger. Vehicles with the original oil pump installed in the fuel tank
cannot use a T-shaped tee for oil extraction. Instead, an oil extractor should
be used to directly extract oil from the tank.
5. Installation and precautions of oil extractor
For fuel tank oil extractor, at the time of installation, the length of metal
suction pipe can be cut on the site, Then seal and connect it.
When installing the machine, open a 10mm hole on the upper end face of the oil
tank to remove burrs; cut off oil tank oil extractor with an appropriate
length (keep a distance of 10-20mm between the bottom of the suction pipe and
the bottom of the oil tank). Install the oil extractor, install the sealing
ring and pressure plate at a time, adjust the oil outlet direction properly,
and lock it tightly at last.
When connecting the oil pipeline, each jaint should be sealed to prevent air
leakage and fuel supply failure, Pay attention to checking the air vent of the
fuel tank.
The fuel pipe should be kept away from the heat source to avoid damaging the
pipeline.

7. Water circuit installation and precautions
- The installation of the heater water pump should be 20 centime- ters below the engine level, ensur- ing that the direction of water flow is consistent with the water flow of water pump of the original vehicle. Vehicles with thermostatic valves for the heater need to be installed over the thermostatic valve.

Heater debugging after installation
After the installation of the heater, it is necessary to exhaust first to fill
the water pump with anti-freeze solution and fill the entire pipeline with
anti-freeze solution. After the installation of the heater is completed, the
engine can be started and the water pump of he engine can fill the entire
parking heater and pipeline with water. Increase the throttle appropriately to
facilitate the discharge of gas generated in the pipeline during installation.
Pay attention to checking the liquid level of the water tank and add an
appropriate amount of anti-freeze solution to avoid water shortage in the
water tank, which may cause the heater to malfunc- tion. It is strictly
prohibited to start the heater when there is no water.
Heater operation and function display
The liquid heater is started in one click mode and fully automatically
controlled. Users can operate the entire heating process of the heater only
through the heater run switch.
Firstly, before starting the heater for heating, check if there are any leaks
in the various pipelines (including water pipes and oil pipes) of the heater.
When the switch is turned on to the heating position, the heater begins to
detect its own components.
After the components are normal, the ignition plug is preheated for 60 seconds
and ignites. When the sensor detects stable combustion of the flame inside the
heater, the ignition is successful and normal combustion begins. If the first
ignition fails, it will automatically enter the second preheating ignition
process.
If the second ignition fails and the controller enters self-protection, please
check if the relevant components are properly connected.
After normal combustion of the heater, it will continue to heat the anti-
freeze solution. When the water temperature at the outlet of the heater
reaches 70°C, the heater automatically reduces its power and slowly heats. The
heater stops supplying oil and burning when the water temperature reaches
80°C.
The fan motor stops working after a delay of 3 minutes, and the water pump is
still rotating. When the water temperature drops to 60°C, the heater
automatically starts heating. If the user does not need the constant
temperature function, turn off the switch and the heater will exit the
constant temperature state, ending the heating work. During the heating
period, it is prohibited to turn off the power switch of the entire vehicle
(if the fan and water pump are suddenly turned off during the heating process,
the high-temperature gas in the heater will stay and even flow in the opposite
direction, which will burn out the control and other components). Turn off the
heating switch and wait for at least 3 minutes. The power supply can be cut
after the fans and water pump stop.

8 Set key: can set real-time time and timing time
- Hold down for 3 seconds in the “Time Display” interface of the standby mode to enter “Set Time”, and jog to switch the setting position.
- Hold down for 3 seconds in the “Timing Time Display” interface to enter “Set Timing Time”, and then jog to switch the setting position.
- Hold down for 3 seconds in the “Run Time Display” interface of the standby mode to enter the operation guide of “Set Run Time”. The settable time scope is 10-60 minutes;

Function
- Manual mode: Start or stop the host through the “Start/Stop’ button on the control box. When the host is running, it will automatically shut down after the countdown is over. If the water temperature reaches the preset temperature, it will automatically shut down;
- Timing mode: When the host shuts down and reaches the timing time, the host will automatically start;

(2) Control and display of controller
If the heating or stop key is pressed and the indicator light does not light
up, it may be that the effective distance of the controller is exceeded or
there is an obstacle in the middle of the remote control, or there is a strong
magnetic field around it.
The use distance of the remote controller is greatly affected by the
environment. Please confirm that the remote control is successful before
leaving to avoid affecting your travel.

If the backlight is turned on and no human intervention for 5 seconds, the backlight will automatically turn off.

2.1 Standby display page: Press [ADO]. [DEC] to switch pages.
2.1.1) Real time: The display interface displays the current time:
Press the (M] key and [a] flashes, and press [ADD] and [DEC] to adjust: Press

2.1.2) Timing time: Start the heater regularly:

2.1.3) Run time: Remaining operating time of the heater
Press the [M] key and [a] and [b]flashes, [c] stays on normally.
Press [ADD] (D] to adjust for 10 minutes each time, with a maximum setting of
1 hour;

2.1.4) Water temperature: current water temperature, set water temperature;

2.1.5) Self start switch: Set the automatic start and stop of the heater.

“A-OF”, it is non self start mode.
Press and hold the [M) key to confirm the adjustment. The interface displays
“A-OF” as a non self start made. After the countdown of the run time is
completed or when the water temperature of the heater reaches the set water
temperature, turn off the heater; (Figure legend 6). If the interface displays
“A-ON’, it is self start mode. The self start mode is divided into limited
time mode and unlimited time mode.
Unlimited time mode: The heater runs in a cycle, heating to the set
temperature ->standby ->temperature below the preset temperature ->heating;
Limited time mode:
Turn off the heater at the end of the run time;
If the running time ts not over and the water temperature reaches the preset
water temperature of the motherboard, the heater and controller will be in
standby mode. If the water temperature is lower than the preset water
temperature of the motherboard, it will automatically run;
When the running time is set as “00:00”, it is the unlimited timemode;
When the running time is set larger than “00:00”, it is the limited time mode

Ring 2 times, hang up for the third time, andl stop normally, if # hangs up for the first ring, the stop fas. View run parameters
After power on, the display screen displays the current water temperature and battery icon. After the screen displays the heating icon, you can view the operating parameters.
Parameter 1: Run time, (hold down [ ] for 3 seconds to set. Each press can adjust 10min and it can be set as 1h maximally. Hold it down again to save the setting.
Parameter 2: Run program version number;
Parameter 3: Shell temperature;
Parameter 4: tail gas temperature;
Parameter 5: Power supply voltage;
Parameter 6: Water pump current value;
Parameter 7: Remote control battery level; -
Fault display: When the heater malfunctions, the controller switch and remote control display area flash fault codes, and the fault types are shown in the table below;

E+01| Second start fails.| Abnormal oil circuit, check for oil shortage or
blockage of oil circuit
Poor sealing of the oil pipe interface, check each oil pipe joint and tighten
the loose parts of the oil pipe joint
If there is gas in the oil circuit, exhaust the gas in the oil circuit:
Solution to oil pipe blockage: Check whether the oil level in the fuel tank is
lower than the suction port of the oil pipe, and replenish fuel or replace the
oil pipe in a timely manner:
Oil pump malfunction. Check if the oil pump is working properly and if there
is oil output:
E+02| Flameout| Abnormal oil circuit, check for oil shortage or blockage
E+03| Abnormal voltage| Abnormal voltage, power supply voltage not within
normal operating range (9V-16V),
Under voltage of the battery:
Check whether the heater wire harness is low on power;
Check whether the heater wiring harness is securely connected:
The diameter of the main power wire harness is too small or too long.
E+04| Furnace chamber temperature sensor has failure.| The furnace temperature
sensor is abnormal; replace the sensor or computer board.
E+05| Abnormal water temperature sensor| The water temperature sensor is
abnormal. Replace the sensor or computer board.
E+06| The shell temperature sensor is abnormal.| Abnormal ultra-high
temperature sensor replace the sensor or computer board.
The overheat sensor connector has poor contact. Check whether the connector Is
loose and reconnect It to its normal position.
E+07| Short circuit of ell pump| Oil pump open circuit. check the power supply
circuit of the oil pump.
E+08| The fan has short circuit.|
E+09| Short circuit of water pump| The water pump is abnormal. Check the power
supply line of the water pump.
The wire harness connector is not properly connected, check whether the wire
harness connector is securely connected:
Check if the wire harness fuse is blown and replace the corresponding fuse;
Check whether the positive and negative poles of the wire harness are
connected correctly. Check the positive and negative poles of the power line,
the red line is connected to the positive pole, and the black line is
connected to the negative pole
E+10| Short circuit of ignition plug| Abnormal preheating plug, replace the
preheating plug or computer board.
E+11| Overheat protection| The host temperature is too high, please add anti-
freeze solution.
E+12| Lack of anti-freeze solution| Lack of anti-freeze solution or blocked
circuit, check water circuit.
E+13| Boot failure| Computer board malfunction, replace the computer board
E+16| Wrong key|
E+17| Power on failure|
E+18| Shutdown failed|
Repair and maintenance
After using the heater in winter, it should be removed from the vehicle for
cleaning and maintenance. Usually, there is no need for major repairs during a
heating season. If there is a significant decrease in thermal efficiency,
difficulty in ignition, or other faults, the cause should be promptly
identified and eliminated
If excessive carbon deposition causes a decrease in thermal efficiency, the
cooling fin on the inner wall of water jacket and the carbon deposition in the
combustion chamber should be deaned.
The oil tank, oil pipe, and oil filtering device should be kept clean and
unobstructed, and cleaned regularly according to the actual situation
The parking heater circulation system should use anti-freeze solution or a
mixture of anti-freeze solution that is suitable for the ambient temperature
as the coolant medium During the season when the parking heater is not in use,
the power supply of the parking heater should be disconnected, and the parking
heater should be kept clean and dry. It is strictly prohibited to immerse the
heater in water, rain, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. It is best
to activate the heating function 1-2 times a month, with each healing lasting
at least 5 minutes.
Measures for heater failure
If the heater malfunctions, check if the plug connection of fuse box is intact
and secure
The following faults can be eliminated by the user’s operation.
Error description
The heater shuts down on its own.
The heater cannot be turned on.
The heater shuts down during heating process.
Potential causes After starting or restarting, there is no combustion
phenomenon, and the flame of the heater is extinguished during running.

Remedial measures
Check the power supply and grounding connection of the heater
Add cooling liquid according to the manufacturer’s requirements
The temperature of shell of the heater is too high after the completion of
installation.
- Loosen the outlet pipe of the heater for venting until the venting is complete, and then connect the water pipe and tighten the pipe damp after the anti-freeze solution flows out.
- if overheat protection still occurs after several consecutive venting, check the water level of the engine expansion tank and replenish water according to the actual situation.
