Hcalory SS2 Diesel Air Car Parking Heater
Important Information
NOTE: Please read this manual carefully before use to understand the
function and operation requirements of the product.
Function Overview
This product can reduce the damage caused by sudden temperature drops to cars, increase the temperature inside the car, preheat the engine coolant and avoid wear of the engine wear at low temperatures. It is conducive to thawing inside the car, starting the car, and defogging car glass. This product is another heating system that is independent of the vehicle’s original heating system. Regardless of whether the vehicle’s engine is running or not, the driver’s cab can be heated, and it can be even used in camping tents and household rooms.

Remote Control Operation Instructions
[Note: The remote control uses two CR2025 button batteries that are needed to be configured by users themselves. The product does not include batteries.]
Overall display and key definition
Work mode
- In gear mode, the gear can be adjusted and set within the range of 1-10 gears;
- In temperature control mode, the set temperature can be adjusted within the range of 8-36°C. The gear position of the control switch changes with the temperature inside the cab. When the temperature rises or decreases, the control switch will automatically adjust the operating gear to reach the set temperature quickly, making the heater operate more intelligent and economical;
- When a fault occurs during operation, the control switch display window will flash to display the fault code, making it easier to find the fault more accurately and intuitively.
Operating instructions
On/Off: Press the (On/Off key) to power on the machine in the shutdown state; Press the button (on/off key) to power off the machine in the startup state;
Quick oil pumping: in the state when the heater motherboard is connected with power for the first time and shutdown state, hold down ( key) for three seconds to enter the oil pumping mode. The screen displays a 300s countdown to start pumping oil. After the countdown is completed, it will automatically exit and shut down. Press the (On/Off key) halfway to exit the oil pump mode and shut down the machine;
Quick language switching: Press the (setting key) and (down key) simultaneously for 3 seconds in the startup state to switch languages ( for voice off, for English, for German, and for Russian).
Fill the fuel tank : hold down the ( key) for 3 seconds after starting the machine, and the screen will display to set the full fuel tank. The fuel tank icon on the operation interface will be in full state;
Mode switching : in the startup state, press (setting key) to switch between the gear mode and temperature control mode.
Gear adjustment: Press (up key) to increase run gear/temperature by 1, up to 10 gear/36°C, press (down key) to decrease run gear/temperature by 1, down to 1 gear/8°C;
Basic settings: After powering on, hold down (setting key) for 3 seconds to enter the basic setting interface. The setting items are displayed directly on the top of the screen. Press (up key) to adjust item by increasing 1. Press (down key) to adjust item by decreasing 1. The interface displays the specific data for the setting item:
FO: Current time;
F1: Self start time;
F2: Running time [after self start] F3: Self start switch setting;
F4: Language switching [E English, G German, r Russian, – Voice off];
FS: Temperature compensation [range -9°C~+9°C] ;
F6: Fuel volume in the fuel tank [5-50L [switch unit: SL)] [Display –
represents not monitoring the fuel tank condition] ;
F7: Oil pump type [16/22/28/32UL [default: 22UL)] ;
FS: Automatic start/stop heating switch; (In temperature control mode,
when the cab temperature reaches the set temperature, it will automatically
shut down after a delay of 30 seconds; when the cab temperature is 2°C lower
than the set temperature, it will automatically start up after a delay of 30
seconds).
F9: Bluetooth matching switch
FA: Remote control matching switch;
Fb: switch between Celsius °C/Fahrenheit °F;
Press (setting key) to modify, press (up key)/ (down key) to modify the current data, and press again (settings key) to confirm the current item. After all modifications within the basic settings are completed, hold down (setting key) for 3 seconds to save the modified data and exit from the running interface;
Engineering mode: in the startup state, hold down (up key) and (down key) for 3 seconds to enter the engineering mode. The upper left corner displays the current item. Press (up key) to increase the item by 1 and press [ (down key) to decrease the item by 1. The interface displays the specific data of engineering mode: After viewing, press (on/off key) to exit to the homepage.

Remote control quick matching:
In the startup state, press (up key) for 3 seconds and the screen will display
“rte”. Press any key on the remote control to match, and once the matching is
completed, it will automatically exit from the running interface;
Clear the last remote control matching data:
During the power on self test, hold down (on/off key) and the interface
displays “CLr” to start clearing. Release the key until the screen displays
“SUC”. This means that the clearing of remote control matching data is
successful.
Bluetooth matching:
Please download the APP as follows, and then follow the steps to connect and
control the heater through Bluetooth on your phone.

Search ”Air Heater BLE” in Google Mall or directly scan the following QR code

download directly.

Query the Bluetooth name of the controller: after power on, press (Setting key) (On/Off key) for 3S at the same time and the screen displays “bLE”.
The upper side of the screen displays 6 characters with the name (0-F). If there is no Bluetooth module or the name acquisition is failed, the upper side of the screen displays “NULL”. Press any key again to exit.

Connect the mobile APP to the controller through Bluetooth: Click the Bluetooth symbol in the upper right corner of the APP program and find the corresponding controller Bluetooth number: BYD+MAC address+4 letter and number (refer to the above figure), and then click the Bluetooth number to connect;

Hold down l to turn off or start the heater.

Click the button to go to the settings page. You can set the language (English/Chinese) and password, and then click the “save” button to save the settings.
After changing the password on the APP, please pay attention to updating the password of the controller switch synchronously. Adjust the controller switch to enter engineering mode En09, and the interface displays “bLE”. Hold down controller (setting key) for 3 seconds, the flashing of original password is changed to display of setting mode on the upper right corner and the interface display changes to “SUC”. After the update is successful, it will automatically return to the running interface;
Please note that the mobile phone APP password and controller switch password must be consistent in order to connect. -
Click “mode” button to switch between gear mode and temperature control mode, and then click “up+”/”down -” to increase or decrease (gear 1-10)/temperature (8°C~36°C);

Fault error display: When the heater malfunctions, the display area flashes a fault code. Please refer to the table below for the fault type and troubleshooting operation.

E-01| Abnormal voltage| Check if the type of heater supply voltage
matches the actual vehicle voltage;
For the version of 24V, check if the power supply voltage is higher than 32VA
or lower than 18V;for the version of 12V, check if the power supply voltage is
higher than 18V or lower than 9V. check if the connecting of main wire harness
comes loose.
E-03| Abnormal ignition plug| Check if the ignition plug is connected
firmly; if the ignition plug fails, replace the ignition plug; if the
motherboard fails, replace it;
E – 04| Abnormal oil pump| Check if the oil pump plug is loose
or not connected firmly;
Check if there is an open circuit in the main harness; if the oil pump fails,
replace it;
E – 05| Overheat protection| The furnace temperature sensor
model is incorrect or faulty, replace the sensor; if the motherboard fails,
replace it;
E-06| Abnormal fan| Check if the fan impeller is stuck; Check if the fan
plug is loose or not connected firmly; if the fan fails, replace it.
Check if the induction magnet of the wind wheel is missing or has incorrect
polarity; Check whether the motherboard wind speed sensor is normal; if the
motherboard fails, replace it;
E-08| Lack of fuel and stalling| Check if the fuel tank is short of oil;
E – 09| Overheat protection sensor| Check if the temperature
sensor connector is loose or not connected firmly;
if the sensor fails, please replace the motherboard. If the motherboard fails,
replace it.
E-10| Second startup failure| Check if the oil pump works; Check if the
interfaces of the oil circuit are waxed or blocked;
