Product Information
The product is a luminaire that requires installation and operation according to national safety regulations. The installation and commissioning should only be done by a qualified electrician. Product Usage Instructions
- Safety:
- Follow national safety regulations for the installation and operation of the luminaire.
- Overvoltage protection:
- To ensure additional protection against transients, it is recommended to use separate overvoltage protection components available on the manufacturer’s website.
- Installation:
- Before installing the luminaire onto the mounting surface, insert the luminaire housing into the trim ring (if using a trim ring accessory).
- Avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
- To release the synthetic diffuser from the luminaire housing, turn it counterclockwise.
- Optional accessories:
- Metal trim rings are available in three enamel surfaces and must be ordered separately using the provided part numbers.
- For spares or replacement parts, refer to the provided part numbers for synthetic cover and LED units with different colour temperatures.

Application
Ceiling and wall luminaire · indoor luminaire made of impact resistant
synthetic diffuser and metal housing, for all lighting tasks. They are ideal
for places where a soft and uniform lighting distribution is required.

The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national
safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by
a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made
to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be
considered the manufacturer.

transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage protection components.

Luminaire with trim ring:
Before installing onto the mounting surface the luminaire housing must be
inserted into the trim ring (accessory).
Installation
- LEDs are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping. Pass the main supply cable through the grommet into the luminaire housing.
- Fix luminaire housing with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
- It is imperative to use the enclosed gaskets. Dismantle the mains supply cable approx. 60 mm.
- Pull silicone sleeves over the wires and make earth and electrical connections to the terminals. Place the synthetic diffuser into the luminaire housing and observe that the cam pins fit into the notches of the synthetic diffuser.
- Screw in a synthetic diffuser by turning it clockwise. Thus, you reach a safe and vibration-resistant holding of the synthetic diffuser.
- To release the synthetic diffuser from the luminaire housing, turn it counterclockwise.
Replacement of the LED unit
The designation of the LED unit is noted on a label in the luminaire. The
light color and light output of BEGA replacement units correspond to those of
the LED units originally fitted. The LED unit can be replaced by qualified
persons using standard tools.
- Disconnect from the main supply.
- Unscrew the synthetic diffuser from the luminaire housing by turning it counterclockwise.
- Disassemble the LED unit.
- Assemble the LED replacement unit.
- Note the installation instructions for the LED unit.
- Screw in a synthetic diffuser by turning it clockwise.
- A damaged synthetic diffuser must be replaced.
Accessory Trim rings
For this luminaire metal trim rings in 3 enamel surfaces are optionally
available. Trim rings are accessories and must be ordered separately.
