OPTEX OVS-02GT Virtual Loop 2.0 Vehicle Presence Sensor
Install the sensors with the layout shown below.
Application list
- Barrier – Activation 90deg
- Barrier – Activation 45deg(Free exit only)
- Barrier – Protection 90deg
- Slide gate – Activation 90deg
- Slide gate – Activation 45deg
- Slide gate – Protection 90deg
- Swing gate – Activation 90deg
- Swing gate – Activation 45deg
- Swing gate – Protection 90deg
- Swing gate – Shadow 90deg
- Swing gate – Shadow 45deg
Installation and wiring
- Drill holes to install the unit with pattern paper. Wiring holes are not required when using a conduit pipe.
- Run wires out from the pole before securing the sensor housing
- Loosen the screws on the top and bottom covers, and remove the covers Do not loosen the screws completely.
- The screws may fall out.
- Detach the sensor unit by lifting ii.
- Fix the sensor housing with two screws
- Cut the terminal cover with scissors and [7]
- Run wires. Nor>-voltage solid state relay output makes a hole according to the wire diameter.
Set by smartphone App
Follow the procedure to set up and perform calibration Download the smartphone App from the 2D code or search it with the words “OPTEX Virtual Loop AppStore or GooglePlay. After changing the settings, be sure to tap the Send icon to send the settings to the sensor.
Calibration
Memorizes the background of the detection area when no pedestrians or vehicles are present. It makes the sensor’s performance higher and more stable. Download the smartphone App from the 2D code or search it with the words “OPTEX Virtual Loop” at AppStore or Gonale
- For the operation check, use a vehicle to check the entire operation of the system.
- Attach the top and bottom covers and Tighten the screws on the top and bottom covers.
