APP SETUP
- When the device is off, press and hold the Setup Button on the top of the device for 3s; when the device is on, double-click the multi-function button; wait for a while. The device starts up, you will hear “Welcome, please add the camera in the App” with the camera’s indicator light flashing in green. If the status LED is not on, please charge the device before use.

3. In the AiDot app press”+” select L1, and follow the instructions on App to connect the camera to Wi-Fi.
4. Please confirm the current battery status in the AiDot App. When the App shows that the battery is low, please fully charge the device before installing and using it.
Note: When using the power cord to charge, it is necessary to align the
end of the power cord with the bottom of the device, otherwise the device will
not be charged or the charging position will not be waterproof.
- Place the camera in the area where you plan to install to test the video quality, and ensure that the camera can work normally after the final installation, especially the video streaming
INSTALLATION
Placement
For a better user experience, we recommend you to install the camera as below
procedures.
Wall mount of camera

Screw off the stand, and take out the base separately.

Drill a hole with a 13/64 inch (5.16mm) drill bit, then insert the anchor into the hole. The anchor is necessary for walls that are made by hard materials such as concrete, brick or stucco. Please note the “UP” sign when attaching the base onto the wall.

Fit the universal joint onto the base and align with the mark on the base, adjust the camera to the suitable orientation.

Tighten the camera orientation by screwing the universal joint clockwise to the locking position
Cautions of solar panel
While positioning the Solar Panel, keep the following factors in mind.These factors may affect the solar panel efficiency
- Weather conditions will impact the levels of energy produced
- Dirt or debris on the panels can negatively impact the intake of sunlight
- The amount of sunlight that the solar panel receives
To optimize your solar panel efficiency, identify an optimal position on your roof or wall for installation.
- Select a location where the solar panel can get the most sunlight throughout the year
- Position your solar panel south-facing (in the Northern Hemisphere) or northfacing (in the Southern Hemisphere), and tilt the panel at a 30° angle.
- Regularly wipe/clean your solar panel to keep it free of debris and dirt.

Place the mounting bracket against the wall and secure it with the included screws.

Screw the Solar Panel to the mounting bracket and make sure it is well secured.

Angle the Solar Panel on the mounting bracket to receive the largest amount of sunlight. A 30° tilt is recommended.

Open the silicone plug behind the camera

Plug the USB connector into the USB port of camera.

CAUTIONS
To avoid personal injury and/or possible product damage, the following cautions must be followed:
- Please use the provided adapter instead of others in case of any damage to the product.
- Keep out of reach of children. This product contains small magnets and other small parts, which can cause choking or injury if ingested.
- To prevent early failure, the camera should only be installed in operating environments\ ranging between -20°C ~ 50°C(-4°F ~ 122°F).
- Do not install
- close to heat source
- near the metal objects and mirrors that cause radio signal attenuation or shading.
- Do not disassemble or reinstall the camera, otherwise it may cause security risks.
- Unplug the power cord before cleaning. Do not clean the camera with any liquids, spray cleaner or wet cloth.
- The slot and opening are used for ventilation, not allowed to be blocked or covered.
- This product only can be connected to 2.4G WIFI.
