- Disassemble the base cover to set the detector.
- Adjust Jumper Pin settings for Alarm Output Mode, PIR Sensitivity, and Battery Saving Timer.
- Reassemble the base cover securely.
Installation
Ceiling Mount Without Switch Box
- Install retaining springs on both sides as illustrated.
- Insert the detector into the hole ensuring the retaining springs are positioned correctly.
- Arrange wires with a downward slope to prevent water ingress.
Ceiling Mount With 86-Type Box
- Prepare an 86-type box on the ceiling.
- Install the detector into the 86-type box and secure with screws and screw caps.

What is the recommended mounting height for the detector?
The recommended mounting height is between 2.5m to 4.5m (8’2″ to 14’9″). -
How can I adjust the PIR sensitivity of the detector?
Use Jumper Pin JP2 to adjust the PIR sensitivity to High (H), Medium (M), or Low (L). -
Can the detector be used outdoors?
No, outdoor installation is not recommended as it may lead to performance issues.

- Disassemble
Open the base cover, and to set the detector.

Close the base cover, and fasten the screw to fix the cover.
Installation
Ceiling mount without switch box
- Install a retaining spring on both sides.
(follow the illustrated arrow steps to complete the assembly of the retaining spring.)

Make a ø45 mm (1.77”) hole in the ceiling for mounting.

Insert the detector into the hole so that the retaining springs come first.
Ceiling mount with 86-type box
NOTE
For the 86-type box mount, dual 86-type boxes are recommended with the
additional one used to accommodate the transmitter.
- Prepare an 86-type box on the ceiling.
- Install the detector into the 86-type box.
NOTE
Align the bump with the triangle recess as illustrated in the figure.
- Fix the detector with two screws and cover their heads with two caps.
