This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.

This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Product description

Intended use

The Nedis TVRC41SABK | TVRC41LGBK | TVRC41PHBK | TVRC41PABK | TVRC41SOBK | TVRC40TCBK is a replacement remote control for your original TV remote.

For more information, see chapter Specifications.

Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Safety instructions

WARNING

• Only use the product as described in this manual.

• Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.

Installing the product

This remote control covers as many functions as possible, but some buttons on this remote may not be configured for your TV. These can be remapped manually.

Before remapping any buttons, reset the remote.

Resetting the remote

1. Switch on the TV.

2. Press and hold  A 2 and  A 3 for 5 seconds.

• A 1 flashes 3 times.

3. Check if the buttons are working as you want them to.

• If not, continue with step 4.

 4. Press and hold  A 2 and  A 4 for 5 seconds.

• A 1 flashes 3 times.

5. Check if the buttons are working as you want them to.

For TVRC41SABK

If not, remap the buttons manually.

  For TVRC41LGBK / TVRC41PABK

If not, continue with step 1.

 1. Press and hold  A 2 and  A 8 for 5 seconds.

• A 1 flashes 3 times.

2. Check if the buttons are working as you want them to.

If not, remap the buttons manually.

For TVRC41PHBK

If not, continue with step 1.

 1. Press and hold  A 2 and  A 6 for 5 seconds.

A 1 flashes 3 times.

2. Check if the buttons are working as you want them to.

If not, remap the buttons manually.

For TVRC41SOBK / TVRC40TCBK

If not, continue with step 1.

 1. Press and hold  A 2 and  A 8 for 5 seconds.

A 1 flashes 3 times.

2. Check if the buttons are working as you want them to.

If not, continue with step 3.

 3.Press and hold  A 2 and  A 9 for 5 seconds.

A 1 flashes 3 times.

4. Check if the buttons are working as you want them to.

If not, remap the buttons manually.

Remapping a button manually

URC = your replacement remote control; RC = your original remote control

You can remap any button. Only remap buttons you don’t use (often).

1. Make sure the URC and the RC batteries are functioning.

2. Switch on the TV.

3. Press and hold  A 2 and  A 7 on the URC for 5 seconds.

A 1 switches on.

The URC is now in learning mode.

The product automatically exits learning mode after 20 seconds of inactivity.

4. Hold both remotes close together. The infrared pointers of both remotes should be within 2-3 cm of each other.

5. Press the button on the URC that you want to remap.

A 1 flashes quickly.

6. Press the button on the RC that you want to remap to your URC.

A 1 flashes 3 times and then flashes slowly.

The button on the URC has been remapped.

 Repeat steps 4-6 to remap more buttons.

 7. Press and hold  A 2 and  A 7 of URC to save the learned keys.

A 1 switches off.

The URC has exited the learning mode.

If you do not save, the newly remapped buttons will not work properly.

8. Check if the remapped functions work properly.

 If not, repeat steps 4-8.

 You can remap a maximum of 10 buttons. After remapping 10 buttons, you need to overwrite previously remapped buttons.

Resetting all remapped buttons

1. Press and hold  A 2 and  A 5 for 5 seconds.

A 1 flashes 3 times.

All remapped buttons have been reset.

Resetting the remote to factory settings

1. Press and hold  A 2 and  A 6 for 5 seconds.

A 1 flashes 3 times.

The product has been reset to factory settings.

Maintenance

•  Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
• Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.

Warranty

 Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
