SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Read all the instructions and safety instructions carefully before use and save them for future reference.

  • Only intended to be used indoors.

  • Unpack the product and check that no parts are missing or damaged.

  • This product can be used by children from eight years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product.

  • The product is intended for indoor ventilation. Do not use the product for any other purpose than the one it is intended to be used for.

  • Do not use the product in a bathroom.

  • Never poke any objects into the grille in the product.

  • Do not touch the product with wet hands.

  • Do not carry or pull the product by the power cord. Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.

  • Switch off the product, pull out the plug and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before cleaning and/or maintenance.

  • Repairs must only be carried out by
    an authorised service centre.

  • Recycle the product when it has reached the end of its useful life in accordance with local regulations. Recycle the packaging in accordance with local regulations.

NOTE:
The remote control can be used within 5 metres and at 30° from the front of the air cooler.

ASSEMBLY

REMOTE CONTROL
Insert 2 AA batteries with the correct polarity in the remote control.

  • Batteries for the remote control are sold separately.
  • Recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations.

HOW TO USE

USING THE WATER TANK
Refilling water in the water tank and instructions for removing and cleaning.

  1. Turn the catch for the water tank to its horizontal position.

  2. Fill with water, without pulling out the water tank all the way, and then press back in.

  3. To pull the water tank out all the way from the air cooler, disconnect the pump unit and water hose by turning the catch 90° anticlockwise.

  4. Carefully pull out the water tank and clean and/or fill it up.

  5. Carefully replace the water tank, connect the pump unit, press in the water tank and lock in place with the catch.

NOTE:

  • Empty the water tank when the air cooler is not in use.
  • Pull out the plug before cleaning and/or refilling with water.
  • Always check before use that the pump unit is correctly in place, otherwise the air cooler will not work as it should.
  • Water can be filled in two ways.
    -If the water tank is filled before the water is consumed, do not disconnect the pump unit and fill with water without pulling out the water tank all the way.
    -If the water tank is completely empty, disconnect the pump unit and take out and clean and/or fill the water tank.

USING THE ICE CONTAINER

  1. Pull the water tank halfway out from the air cooler.
  2. Take out the ice container from the packaging and put it in the freezer for at least three hours. Put the frozen ice container in the water tank and fill it up with water to the MAX mark on the scale in the water tank.

NOTE:

  • The ice container can be frozen and used again. The air cooler can be used without the ice container, depending on the temperature. Do not open the ice container — risk of material damage.
    • The ice container is made of eco-friendly, non-toxic material that is safe to put in the freezer.

  • Put the ice container in the water tank in the air cooler when the liquid in the ice container has frozen to produce a lower output air temperature.

  • Ice cubes can also be put in the water tank.

  • Never fill water over the MAX mark on the scale on the water tank. Fill with water before the level drops below the MIN mark on the scale on water tank.

FUNCTION OF CONTROL PANEL

Button function
Press to start/stop the air cooler.
 Press to activate/deactivate oscillation.
 Tap when the air cooler is running to start or stop the humidification

function. Use the humidification function for a better indoor climate in dry and/or hot weather
| The fan has 3 modes
• Normal (level 4, status light for normal mode goes on).
• Sleep mode (level 2, status light for sleep mode goes on).
• Natural mode (level 2, status light for natural mode goes on).
| • Tap when the air cooler is in standby mode to increase/ reduce the set start time.
• Tap when the air cooler is running to increase/reduce the set stop time. The buttons are used to increase/reduce the fan speed if the timer function is not activated.
NOTE:
In timer mode, each tap increases/ reduces the set time by half an hour when set between 0 and 3 hours, and by 1 hour when set between 3 and 10 hours.
• When setting the fan speed, each tap increases/reduces the fan speed by one step.
| When the air cooler is running
1. Press this button when the air cooler is running. The display starts flashing.
2. Set the required time. The display flashes three times to confirm the setting.
When the air cooler is in standby mode
1. Press this button in standby mode. The display starts flashing.
2. Set the required time. The display flashes three times to confirm the setting.
3. Press the button again to set the fan mode.
Stop timer in switched-off mode
To stop the timer in switched-off mode, tap the timer button (display flashes) and then press the timer button within 6 seconds for 2 seconds to stop the timer.
Stop timer when the air cooler is running
To stop the timer when the air cooler is running, tap the timer button (display flashes) and then immediately press the timer button for 2 seconds to stop the timer.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING

  1. Switch off the air cooler and pull out the plug before cleaning.
  2. Clean the plastic parts on the air cooler with a cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent. Wipe dry with a dry cloth.

NOTE:

  • Steps to follow when cleaning are given in the section on “using the water tank”.
  • Keep the ventilation openings on the back of the motor unit clean.

WARNING!

  • Do not remove the fan to clean.
  • Wipe the outside of the air cooler with a cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent.
  • Do not use solvent or abrasive detergent, this can damage the air cooler.
  • Do not use petrol, solvents or detergents that can damage the plastic parts.
  • Make sure that no water or any other liquid gets into the motor unit or control panel.
