Product Usage Instructions

To use the ICA-3480 PoE IP Camera, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the camera is properly connected to a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch or injector.
  2. Access the camera’s configuration interface through a web browser or dedicated app.
  3. Configure the camera’s network settings, including IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server.
  4. Adjust the camera’s image settings, such as brightness, contrast, and saturation, to your preference.
  5. Set up advanced features like ROI, motion detection, privacy mask, and video tampering function according to your surveillance needs.
  6. Monitor the camera’s live video feed through the web browser or app.
  7. To capture or record video, configure the desired video resolution, frame rate, and bitrate.
  8. For remote viewing, ensure that your network supports the necessary protocols and configure port forwarding if required.
  9. If desired, schedule the camera to reboot at specific intervals to prevent buffer overflow crashes.

  • Incorporating the 1/3″ Progressive Scan CMOS Sensor and 25-meter Smart IR illuminators, which are specially designed for surveillance applications, the ICA-3480 provides sharp images under all lighting conditions. Being able to operate under the temperature range from -20 to 60 degrees C, the ICA-3480, equipped with a tough IP67-rated metal housing and its outdoor and handy features, enables you to easily install the camera in any public areas, such as buildings, gardens, parking areas, markets, railway stations and hospitals. It ensures the highest level of reliability for mission-critical applications in any difficult environment.

Exceptional Image Quality by DWDR technology

  • For specific surveillance applications, wide dynamic technology has become a standard feature of high-definition surveillance cameras. Together with powerful image processing attributes like Digital Wide Dynamic Range (DWDR) and 3-dimensional Noise
  • Reduction (3DNR) technology, the ICA-3480 is able to filter the intense backlight surrounding a subject and remove noises from video signal. The result is that an extremely clear and exquisite picture quality can be produced even under any challenging lighting conditions.

  • The ICA-3480 employs the H.264(+)/H.265(+) technology to enable the camera to provide higher and more efficient image compression rates. If the same image quality level of H.264 is compared with that of H.265, the latter is able to save around 83% of bandwidth, meaning H.264(+)/H.265(+) offers much higher quality video for less bandwidth. Advanced Media Management

  • The ICA-3480 supports a number of advanced features to enhance surveillance flexibility and event management capabilities. The advanced features include ROI (region of interest), motion detection, 3 configurable regions of privacy mask to protect personal privacy, and video tampering function. It also comes with defog model and image adjustment options, newly-added anti-overexposure protection function, three white balance modes, and five backlight compensation modes.
    With more user-friendly GUI interface that allows users to better monitor, the ICA-3480 supports IPv6, QoS and IEEE 802.1x functions. Newly-added secure email for password reset and email encryption protocol now can support TLS.
