SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
- Read all warnings, safety instructions and other directives. Save these instructions for future reference.
- If leaked refrigerant comes into contact with a naked flame or hot object, a harmful gas is formed and there is a risk of fire.
- Failure to follow these instructions can lead to a risk of explosion, death, personal injury and/or material damage.
USE AND CARE
- The product is intended to reduce relative humidity, which reduces the risk of damage to buildings and equipment due to moisture.
- R290 is used as the refrigerant, which does not harm the ozone layer, has a negligible greenhouse effect, and is available worldwide. The refrigerant is highly flammable – follow all the instructions and safety instructions.
- The product is intended for personal use in homes, garages, etc., or for commercial use by untrained personnel.
- The product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product unless under supervision.
- Do not put any objects on the product.
- Do not step or sit on the product.
- Never poke any objects or parts of your body in the air outlet on the product.
- Do not touch the air inlet or aluminum fins on the product.
- Do not use chemical detergents.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug are damaged.
- Do not use or store the product near sources of heat, or explosive or flammable materials.
- The product must be installed in accordance with the instructions and local regulations.
- Never use other objects or methods than those recommended by the manufacturer to defrost or clean the product.
- Store the product in a room without sources of heat, such as naked flame, LPG products, electric heaters, etc.
- The product should be stored in such a way as to prevent mechanical damage.
- Do not puncture or burn the product, even when it is no longer of use.
- Service must only be carried out in accordance with the recommendations on the manufacturer. Maintenance and/or repairs that require other qualified personnel must be carried out under the supervision of a person competent to handle flammable refrigerant.
- Unpack the product and check that all the parts are included and undamaged.
- The dehumidifier can be used in rooms with a temperature from 5 to 35°C.
- Do not use the product outdoors. The product is only intended for household use indoors.
- Do not place the product near walls or curtains etc. that can block the air inlet and/or air outlet.
- Keep the ventilation openings clean and unblocked.
- The product should be stored in a well-ventilated area of a size that is at least equivalent to the minimum allowed room size for use.
- If the product has been tilted more than 45°, it must be kept upright for at least 24 hours before use.
- Keep doors and windows closed for best energy-saving economy.
- Do not use or store the product in direct sunlight.
- The air outlet can get hot during continuous use on warm days. This is perfectly normal.
- Empty the water tank before moving the product.
- Check that the water tank is properly inserted, otherwise the product will not work.
- The product starts in the mode it was in when it was switched off.
- The product starts when the humidity level is 3% higher than the set target humidity level.
- When the product has been switched off it cannot be started until after a delay of 3 minutes, to protect the compressor.
- Contact the retailer in the event of problems or questions.
REFRIGERANT
- The product is intended to be used with refrigerant R290 (propane).
- The refrigerant circuit is sealed. Service must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
- The refrigerant must not be released into the atmosphere.
- R290 (propane) is flammable and heavier than air. The gas initially accumulates near the ground, but can be circulated by fans or similar devices.
- If leakage of propane is suspects, troubleshooting must be carried out by qualified personnel.
- Propane is odourless – the absence of smell does not mean that there is no leakage.
- If a leak is detected, immediately evacuate and ventilate the area, and inform the fire department that there is a propane leak.
- Do not allow anyone to enter the area until qualified personnel have examined the situation and determined that it is safe.
- Keep the product away from naked flames, cigarettes and other sources of heat.
- The components of the product are designed for use with propane and are spark-free. Only use identical spare parts.
- Piping should be protected from mechanical damage and should not be installed in an unventilated area with a floor surface less than 4 m2.
- Follow national regulations concerning gas.
- The product should be stored in a well-ventilated area of a size that is at least equivalent to the minimum allowed room size for use.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY

If the power cord or plug are damaged they must be replaced by an authorised service centre to ensure safe use.

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.

The plug must be plugged into a correctly installed earthed power point.
-
Pull out the plug before cleaning and when the product is not in use.
-
Do not use the product with wet hands.
Do not expose the product to water or any other liquid. Do not expose the product to rain or moisture. -
Never leave the product unattended when switched on. Avoid tilting or tipping over the product.

Do not pull out the plug when the product is switched on.
-
Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.
-
Do not use extension cords or adapters together with the product.
SERVICING
Follow all the instructions and safety instructions below when working on
products the refrigerant R290.
Safety checks should be carried out before working on systems containing
flammable refrigerant to minimise the risk of ignition.
The following safety measures should be applied before and during the time a
cooling system is repaired.

Working procedures – work should be carried out according to established procedures designed to minimise the risk of flammable gas or vapor being present in the environment where the work is being carried out.

Work area – all maintenance personnel and other personnel working or present inthe area must be informed of the type of work being carried out. Avoid working in confined/enclosed areas. The area around the workplace must be cordoned off. Check that there are no flammable materials in the work area.

Checking for the presence of refrigerant-prior to and during work, the work area should be checked with an appropriate refrigerant detector to immediately detect a potentially flammable atmosphere.
Check that the refrigerant detector used is suitable for flammable refrigerant – non-sparking, adequately sealed and intrinsically safe. -
Fire extinguisher – if hot work is to be carried out on the refrigeration system or its component parts, suitable fire-fighting equipment (powder or CO2 extinguisher) should be available.

No sources of heat – under no circumstances must sources of heat be used in way that can result in a risk of fire and/or explosion during work that involves exposure of conduits or components that contain, or have contained, flammable refrigerant. All potential sources of heat, including lit cigarettes, must be kept at a safe distance from workplaces where installation, repairs, dismantling, scrapping or other work can involve the release of flammable refrigerant Check before starting the work that the area around the product is free from flammable material and the risk of ignition. Smoking prohibited signs must be put up.

Ventilation – make sure the workplace is well ventilated (or if possible move the product outdoors) before opening the system or doing any hot work. The ventilation or exhaust system must always be running while work is in progress and have a sufficient capacity to safely remove any released refrigerant, preferably to the outdoor air.

Checking the cooing system – when replacing electrical components the replacement components must be of the right type and have the right technical data. The manufacturer’s service and maintenance instructions must always be followed. Contact the manufacturer in the event of any problems or questions. Check the following on installations that use flammable refrigerant.
- Check that the amount of refrigerant does not exceed the permitted amount for the room where the product is installed.
- Check that the ventilation system is working and that the ventilation openings are not blocked.
- If an indirect refrigerant circuit is used, check that there is refrigerant in the secondary circuit.
- Check that all the markings on the product are clearly visible and legible. Replace any missing or illegible markings.
- Check that piping and components containing refrigerant are installed in such a way as to minimise the risk of exposure to corrosive substances, or are made of corrosion-proof materials, or provided with adequate corrosion protection.

Checking and repairing electrical components – the following safety measures should be taken when repairing and maintaining electrical components.
Do not supply the system with voltage until any faults that compromise safety have been rectified. Find a temporary -
solution if the system cannot be stopped and there are faults that cannot be rectified immediately. Notify the system owner of any such temporary solutions.

Safety checks before starting should include checking that:
- The condensers are discharged (discharge with safe, non-sparking method).
- No live parts or wires are exposed during filling, emptying or spooling of the system.
- The earthing is intact.

USE
POSITIONING
Place the dehumidifier on a flat stable surface with at least 30 cm of free
space on all sides to ensure the adequate circulation of air.
Take the following into consideration:
- Do not install near sources of heat, such as radiators, cookers or other equipment that produces heat.
- Do not put it where it can be exposed to splashing water, oil or other liquids.
- Do not expose it to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Do not subject it to knocks or continuous vibration.
- Do not expose it to dust.
- Do not put the dehumidifier where it will not receive sufficient ventilation (for example, in a cupboard or on a shelf).
- Do not put it on an uneven surface.
WARNING!

Do not install in an area with a floor surface less than 4 m2.
-
Do not use the dehumidifier in the vicinity of flammable liquids or gas.
FUNCTIONS OF CONTROL PANEL
Power switch
- When the dehumidifier is in standby mode, press the power switch to start it. The status light goes on and the dehumidifier starts with default settings (high fan speed and target air humidity of 50%).
- When the dehumidifier is running, press the power switch to switch it off. The status light goes out, the compressor turns off immediately, and the fan stops after 30 seconds.
NOTE:
Place the air deflector in an upward position before starting.
Mode
Each press of the button toggles between automatic mode – continuous dehumidification – night mode. The corresponding status light goes on.
Automatic mode
- When the humidity level is at least 3% higher than the set target humidity, the fan starts and the compressor starts 3 seconds later.
- When the humidity level is at least 3% lower than the set target humidity, the compressor stops and the fan stops 30 seconds later.
- The fan speed can be adjusted in automatic mode.
Continuous dehumidifying
The dehumidifier runs continuously, and target humidity cannot be adjusted.
Night reduction

Press the button for night reduction.
The status light in the button goes on and night reduction is activated. If no buttons are pressed within 10 seconds, all status lights go out and low fan speed is set. -
Press any button to switch on the status lights.

Press the night reduction button again to end the night reduction function.
- When the humidity level is less that 57%, the compressor stops and the fan stops 30 seconds later.
- When the humidity level is higher than 63%, the fan starts and the compressor starts 3 seconds later.
- Fan speed and set target humidity cannot be adjusted in night reduction mode.
Timer
When the dehumidifier is running, the timer function is used to set the time for automatic power-off. When the dehumidifier is switched off, the timer function is used to set the time for start.

Press the timer button to activate the timer function.

The adjustable time is from 0 to 12 hours in steps of 1 hour. The set time is increased by 1 hour each time the button is pressed.
The corresponding value is shown on the display. -
Set the value to 00 to deactivate the timer function. The status light goes off.
When the timer function is activated the status light goes on during the set time. When the set time has expired the status light goes off automatically
Setting the target humidity
Press the button for setting target air humidity for 3 seconds to display the ambient temperature.
- Press the button for setting target air humidity to show the ambient humidity on the display.
- Press again to set the target humidity.
The target humidity can be set from 30 to 80% in steps of 5%. 3 seconds after the setting is finished, the set value is confirmed and the setting mode ends.
The display returns to show ambient humidity. The target humidity cannot be set in continuous dehumidification mode.
Fan speed
Press the button for fan speed to switch between high and low fan speed. The corresponding status light goes on.
It is not possible to change fan speed during continuous dehumidification, night reduction or defrosting.
Childlock
Press for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the childlock.
MAINTENANCE
OPERATING TEMPERATURE
- The dehumidifier can be used in rooms with a temperature from 5 to 35°C.
- At higher or lower ambient temperatures, the product will automatically switch off.
- At ambient temperatures from 5 to 16°C the compressor is automatically defrosted when necessary. The compressor is switched off during defrosting and the fan works.
EMPTYING THE WATER TANK
The water tank can be emptied in two ways as follows.
- Manual emptying of the water tank
- Continuous emptying of the water tank
NOTE:
Do not use chemical detergents.
Manual emptying of the water tank
The dehumidifier stops automatically when the built-in water tank is full. It
starts again when the water tank is emptied and replaced correctly.
- When the water tank is full an audio prompt is given, and the status light for full water tank goes on.
- Press the power switch to switch off the dehumidifier.
- Pull out the water tank.
- Empty the tank in a suitable place.
- Clean the inside and outside of the water tank.
- Replace the water tank in the dehumidifier.
- Press the power switch to start the dehumidifier.
- If the status light for full water tank does not go off, remove the water tank again and check that the float is correctly positioned.
Continuous emptying of the water tank
Connect the supplied hose to the dehumidifier for continuous emptying or for dehumidification without supervision. The water will self-drain to a suitable container or drain.
- Place the dehumidifier on a level, stable surface.
- Switch off the dehumidifier before fitting the hose.
- Remove the plug from the water outlet and put it in a safe place.
- Connect the hose carefully and check that it is free from obstructions and kinks.
- Place the free end of the hose in a suitable container or drain, and check that the water can flow freely from the unit.
- Do not put the free end of the hose under water, this can obstruct drainage.
- The hose should run downwards with a minimum inclination of 20°.
CLEANING THE FILTER
Clean the air filter every other week. Over time, dust accumulates in the filter, which limits airflow and reduces the dehumidifier’s efficiency. The dehumidifier can be damaged if the filter is blocked.
The filter can be removed to be cleaned:
Detach the filter frame and remove the filter.
- Gently vacuum off the dust from the surface of the filter.
- If the filter is very dirty it can be washed with water and a mild detergent. Allow it to dry completely.
- Replace the filter.
NOTE:
Never use the dehumidifier without the air filter, this can cause
impurities to accumulate on the evaporator.
STORAGE
If the dehumidifier is not going be used for an extended period (more than a few weeks), it should be cleaned and thoroughly dried before being put into storage. Follow the instructions below:
- Turn off the dehumidifier with the power switch and unplug it.
- Empty the water tank.
- Clean the filter and allow it dry in a shaded area.
- Wind up the power cord on the holder.
- Replace the filter.
- The dehumidifier must be stored in an upright position.
- Store the dehumidifier in a dry, well ventilated area indoors, protected from a corrosive atmosphere.
IMPORTANT:
The dehumidifier’s evaporator must be dry before storage, otherwise there is a
risk of moulding and/or material damage. Pull out the plug and leave the
product for a few days in an open, dry area to dry.
WASTE DISPOSAL
WARNING!
- Never release refrigerant into the atmosphere.
- Recycle the product at the end of its useful life in accordance with local regulations.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The troubleshooting guide is used to identify the causes of common problems and how they can be rectified. Contact the retailer if the problem cannot be rectified with the help of the troubleshooting guide.
