Product Information

  • Product Name: F-410 Flowmeter
  • Manufacturer: Blue-White Industries, Ltd.
  • Origin: Made in the USA
  • Certification: ISO 9001:2015 Certified
  • Maximum Fluid Temperature: Dependent on working pressure (refer to temperature vs pressure chart)
  • Height: 11″ (279.4mm)
  • Width: 1-3/4″ (44.45mm)
  • Accuracy: Not specified
  • Application: Suitable for water, suitability for other chemicals should be determined by the user

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before installing the flowmeter, read the instruction guideline provided.
  2. Remove the plastic tubing inserted into the flowmeter before installation as it is only used for shipping protection.
  3. Ensure that the flowmeter is installed in a vertical plane to maintain accuracy. Misalignment can damage the flowmeter and cause leaks in o-ring seals.
  4. Use only PTFE tape on threaded adapters. Pipe dope and glue can damage the polysulfone meter body and fittings. Alternatively, install the flowmeter after all glued fittings have dried and fumes have been purged from the system.
  5. Mounts and supports must be sturdy enough to support the plumbing and prevent vibration. Vibration and heavy loads can damage the meter.
  6. Avoid imposing a sudden burst of flow to the meter as solenoid valves can cause damage. Such bursts can lead to destructive force impacting the float against the top float stop.
  7. Refer to the temperature vs pressure chart to determine the maximum fluid temperature based on the working pressure.
  8. For maintenance, refer to the Exploded View drawing in the manual for reassembling and cleaning the flowmeter. The tapered tube can be cleaned with a soft bottle brush using a mild soap and water solution. Note the position of the floats during cleaning.

Please note that while the F-410 Flowmeter may be suitable for other chemicals, Blue-White Industries cannot guarantee their suitability. It is the responsibility of the user to determine the flowmeter’s suitability in their specific application. The flowmeters are tested and calibrated for water only.

  3. Mounts and supports must be sturdy enough to support the plumbing and prevent vibration. Vibration and heavy loads will damage the meter.
  4. Avoid imposing a sudden burst of flow to the meter. Solenoid valves will damage the meter. Such a burst will cause the float to impact the top float stop with destructive force.
  5. The Maximum fluid temperature is dependant on the working pressure. High pressure and temperature with damage the meter. (see temperature VS pressure chart)
