  • This product is for domestic indoor use only. If this product is used for any commercial, industrial, rental or other purposes, product warranty will be VOIDED.
  • This product is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of this product by an adult responsible for their safety.
  • Mind your children and DO NOT let children play with this product.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Check the voltage indicated on the rating label before using this product.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.
  • Unplug this product from the power source before cleaning and maintenance.
  • Contact German Pool authorized service technician for repair or maintenance of this product.

Precautions Before Using This Product

  1. Before inserting the main plug into the socket, check whether voltage and current rating of the supply line are in compliance with the rated electric parameter shown on the label. Don’t overload electrical outlets, never plug too many appliances into the same socket and make sure you are using the proper fuses.
  2. Please operate this product on a firm and level desk or floor, and place the product as close to the power socket as possible.
  3. Keep this product away from flammable and explosive items; never use this product in an environment with flammable gas and/or powder. Keep this product away from any sources of heat like fire.
  4. Keep this product out of reach of children to reduce the risk of fire and avoid accidents such as electric shock and injury.
  5. This product is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless given the supervision or instruction concerning the use of this product by a person  held responsible for their safety.
  6. Unplug this product before cleaning.

Basic Precautions When Using This Product

  1. Please read the instructions carefully before use and keep them in a safe place.
  2. To ensure safety, please check the rice cooker body and the power cord for damage before using this product.
  3. A properly grounded outlet must be used and the plug should be securely plugged to avoid problems with poor contact.
  4. DO NOT use the power cord for other heated products. When not using this product, please unplug it from the power source.
  5. Place and use this product on a stable table and keep it away from flammable materials.
  6. DO NOT put the rice cooker directly into the water to avoid short circuit and electric shock.
  7. DO NOT insert or remove the plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock. DO NOT pull on the power cord when unplugging.
  8. Keep the plug clean to avoid poor contact.
  9. DO NOT place the inner pot on other heating sources, otherwise it will be easily deformed.
  10. DO NOT place any food or water before putting the inner pot into the rice cooker.
  11. DO NOT place your face or hands near the steam outlet during the operation of the rice cooker to avoid burns. DO NOT cover or block the steam valve with clothes, towels, etc. to avoid distortion of the lid due to overheating.
  12. DO NOT place the rice cooker in a flammable or humid environment.
  13. DO NOT violently hit the inner pot, otherwise the rice cooker may be damaged due to deformation of the inner pot and causes danger.
  14. DO NOT use abrasive tools to clean the inner pot to avoid damaging the coating.
  15. Only use the supplied inner pot. DO NOT use other inner pots instead to avoid product failure or danger.
  16. After use, the rice cooker heating plate will be hot, DO NOT touch it to avoid burns.
  17. DO NOT disassemble or replace parts yourself. For repair, please contact German Pool Customer Service & Repair Centre.
  18. If the power cord is damaged, DO NOT replace with other power cords. Please contact German Pool Customer Service & Repair Centre for replacement.

Operation Instructions

LED display shows cooking time left (when cooking time left for rice is 5 minutes or less, or when cooking time left for congee is 20 minutes or less, LED Display will change from running light to displaying continuous countdown)

Notice Before Use

  1. Before plugging in the product, please confirm that the power supply voltage matches the specifications on the product’s rating label.
  2. Before using for the first time, please remove all packaging materials from the product, remove the inner pot and wash it under the tap.
  3. Before putting the inner pot into the rice cooker, please check if there is any rice grain or food residue on the bottom of the inner pot or on the heating plate. If there is, remove it before placing in the inner pot. After inserting the inner pot, rotate it left and right to ensure that the it is sitting securely on the heating plate.

How To Use
Rice Function

  1. In standby state, press Rice button once, Rice Indicator Light lights up constant, LED Display blinks “25” for 3 seconds then product starts to cook.
  2. Default time for cooking rice is preset to 25 minutes, and time is not adjustable.
  3. To cancel function during cooking, press Warm/Cancel button once, Rice Indicator Light goes dark, and product automatically returns to standby state.
  4. When cooking is finished, product automatically goes into Keep Warm state. To cancel Keep Warm, press Warm/Cancel button once, and product automatically returns to standby state, or user can directly unplug the product at the socket.

Congee Function

  1. In standby state, press Congee button once, Congee Indicator Light lights up constant, LED Display blinks “45” for 3 seconds then product starts to cook.
  2. Default time for cooking congee is preset to 45 minutes, and time is not adjustable.
  3. To cancel function during cooking, press Warm/Cancel button once, Congee Indicator Light goes dark, and product automatically returns to standby state.
  4. When cooking is finished, product automatically goes into Keep Warm state. To cancel Keep Warm, press Warm/Cancel button once, and product automatically returns to standby state, or user can directly unplug the product at the socket.

Note:
The inner pot must be placed correctly into the rice cooker before cooking. Do not heat an empty or dry inner pot. If you need to steam food, place the inner pot into the rice cooker and then place the steaming basket on the inner pot.

Keep Warm Function

  1. In standby state, press Warm/Cancel button, Keep Warm Indicator Light lights up constant, and LED Display shows “OH”.
  2. To cancel Keep Warm function, press Warm/Cancel button, Warm Indicator Light goes dark, and product automatically returns to standby state, or user can directly unplug the product at the socket.

Timer Function
Note:
The timer of this product is set to “the time cooking finishes” rather than “the time to start cooking”.
An example would be if it is now 1pm, and user wishes the food to be cooked by 6pm, user should set a timer for 5 hours, and the product will automatically calculate the cooking time and finish cooking at 6pm.

  1. In standby state, press Rice button or Congee button to select desired function, then press Timer button to select timer. Timer Indicator Light blinks.

  2. To set timer for 0-10 hours, each press of the Timer button will increase timer by 0.5 hour; after timer reaches 10 hours, each press of the Timer button will increase timer by 1 hour. Timer can be set from 1-24 hours.

  3. If not further command is received in 3 seconds, the Timer Indicator Light will light up constant, the product will automatically confirm the setting, LED Display will show countdown time left and start to countdown. When timer countdown reaches zero, food will be completely cooked.
    Note:
    If timer is set for 0.5 hour, the product will immediately start to cook, and Timer Indicator Light will go dark.

  4. When cooking is finished, the product will automatically enter Keep Warm state. To cancel Keep Warm, press Warm/Cancel button once, and product automatically returns to standby state, or user can directly unplug the product at the socket.

Cleaning & Maintenance

WARNING!

  • Before cleaning, turn off the power and unplug the product from the power socket.
  • Let the product cool down completely before commencing cleaning to prevent scalding.

Cleaning The Inner Pot & Detachable Aluminum Lid

  1. Take out the inner pot and aluminum lid, and clean with water, dish detergent and sponge. DO NOT use scouring powder and scouring pad.
  2. If there is food debris stuck to the bottom of the inner pot, soak the pot in water to loosen the debris, then wash off with sponge.
  3. After cleaning, wipe the pot and lid dry with a soft cloth.

Inner Pot Maintenance

  1. Always use plastic or wooden spoon to scoop out food, DO NOT use metal utensils to avoid scratching the coating.
  2. To protect the coating, DO NOT cut up food in the pot.
  3. To avoid corroding the coating, DO NOT put vinegar or soy sauce into the pot.

Cleaning The Main Body

  1. Use damp cloth to wipe the rice cooker’s main body, lid and exterior casing.
  2. If there is water on the heating plate, wipe with a dry cloth. If there is burnt rice on the heating plate, gently rub off with scouring pad or fine sandpaper.
  3. After using, clean the steam valve on the lid to avoid odors or steam valve malfunction.
