The CH 0022, CH 0023, CH 0024, CH 0025, and CH 0026 are direct diesel oil heaters manufactured by Clas. These heaters are designed to provide efficient heating using either kerosene or diesel fuel. They come in various power options ranging from 16.5kw to 50kw, making them suitable for different heating requirements. The heaters have a compact design and are equipped with a fuel tank, an engine, and a fan for distributing heat. They also feature a thermostat for temperature control and safety features such as a fuse and an on/off switch.

Product Usage Instructions

Recommendations before starting: Before starting the heater, please ensure the following:

• Ensure the presence of the heater is suitable for the intended use (with or without people present).
• Clean the deflector disc to remove any obstructions.
• Perform required maintenance tasks as mentioned in the user manual.

Starting and Stopping: To start the heater without an ambient thermostat:

1. Ensure the fuel tank is filled with either kerosene or diesel fuel.
2. Turn on the heater using the on/off switch.
3. The heater will start producing heat immediately.

To stop the heater

1. Turn off the heater using the on/off switch.
2. Wait for the heater to cool down before handling or performing any maintenance tasks.

INTRODUCTION

This manual contains all the safety, operation and maintenance instructions for our indirect and direct air generators. We advise you to keep it in an easily accessible place in case of necessity or intervention. We advise you to read this manual carefully and to follow all the instructions before starting up, using and maintaining the device. and maintenance of the device. WARNING

Warning: The mobile generator can only be used if it is placed on a fireproof floor.

• Safety distance: 2 meters from walls or objects.
• The generator must not be used in rooms containing explosive powders, gas fumes, liquid fuels or flammable materials. – The burner must be cleaned regularly if it is used in dusty places.

USE WITHOUT THE PERMANENT PRESENCE OF PEOPLE

• signs at the entrance must prohibit the permanent presence of people in these rooms
• direct generators should only be used to dry rooms, if the necessary amount of air for combustion is guaranteed;
• you get the necessary amount of air when the room has a volume in m3 that is at least 10 times the rated heating capacity (in kW) of all appliances used in that room;
• normal air circulation through doors and windows must be ensured.

USE WITH PERMANENT PRESENCE OF PEOPLE

• direct generators can be used in well ventilated environments and when the percentage of pollutants in the air does not reach values dangerous to health;
• good ventilation is ensured, for example, when the volume of the room in m3 is at least 30 times the nominal heating value (in kW) of all the appliances used in that room, and air circulation is ensured through windows or doors or permanent openings whose total cross-section in m2 is at least 0.003 times the nominal heating value (in kW) of all the appliances used in that room. The openings must be distributed in height.

DESCRIPTION

The mobile hot air generator, in its various calorific potentialities, has been designed and realized to answer particular needs such as temporary heating in outdoor or semi-detached places, to heat or dry where human presence is not necessary. It is easy to move thanks to its sturdy frame and large diameter wheels. The device has been especially designed to simplify its use as much as possible.

RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE OPERATION

The heater may only be used in open or at least well ventilated rooms.

IMPORTANT!: Be careful not to block the intake grille of the heater. Any work on the heater must be carried out when the heater is cold and the power plug is disconnected. The socket must be

Electrical connections

Warning: Before starting up the machine, check that the connection voltage corresponds to that indicated on the data sheet on board the machine.

• The connection must be made in accordance with the standards and must be properly grounded.
• Have a qualified electrician install a high-sensitivity differential circuit breaker, intervention at 30 mA or less.
• If necessary, it is possible to use extension cables with a cross-section of 1.5 mm2 for lengths up to 10 m. and 2.5 mm2 for lengths between 10 and 50 m.

In case of replacement of the original power supply cable, use a cable with an adequate cross-section and a grounding conductor; the cable must have a continuous insulating coating suitable for use outdoors and in closed areas. SWITCHING ON AND OFF

Start-up (without room thermostat)

• Fill the fuel tank with fuel.
• Insert the plug into the socket (the red light comes on).
• Turn the ON/OFF switch to the ON position (the green light comes on and the fan starts).
• The automatic ignition cycle is started by the control box.
• After a few seconds of automatic monitoring, the generator remains regularly in operation.
• If, due to some small irregularities, the unit stops and the RESET light is on, the RESET button must be pressed to restart the ignition cycle.

Start-up (without room thermostat)

• The unit is already adapted to be connected to a room thermostat (optional).
• If necessary, the connection should be made using the socket provided for this purpose on the electrical panel.
• After setting the room thermostat, turn the switch to the AUT position. To switch off the appliance, use either the main switch or the room thermostat. In both cases, a correct cooling cycle of the generator is guaranteed.

Off (without room thermostat)

• Turn the switch to the OFF position.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

CLEANING THE DEFLECTOR DISC

• The deflector disk is an integral part of the cone nozzle.
• To clean it, it is necessary to remove it from its support as follows
  • Detach the diesel hose;
  • Remove the photocell and the H.T. cables from the electrodes;
  • Unscrew the 4 screws that fix the combustion head to the boiler (the head will be completely removed);
• Unscrew the 2 screws; the entire inner part of the combustion head is removed, leaving only the cylindrical body and the conical end accessible for cleaning.

N.B.: When reassembling the head after cleaning, avoid moving the nozzle support. If necessary, make sure that the nozzle is aligned with the defl ector disk. Always respect the position of the electrodes and the inclination of the air control blades.

MAINTENANCE

The recommended frequency of maintenance is based on an average of 8 to 10 hours of operation per day.

• Clean the photocell, the ignition electrodes and the air defl ector every month.
• Every two months clean the fuel fi lter.
• Every six months clean the fuel tank.

FILTRE GAS-OIL

• Every three months, or every 300 working hours, replace the diesel filter.

PHOTOCELLULE

• Remove the photocell.
• Clean the lens with a soft, clean cloth.
• Insert the photocell back into its seat, paying attention to the centering tooth.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR

The generator does not start (red light is off)

| Make sure that:

– the electrical connection is correct

– If a room thermostat is installed, check that it is not set below the room temperature.

The fan does not work (red light is off)

| Check :

– the motor power cable;

– the F1 protection fuse

– the fuel pump; if it is seized, it must be replaced.

The fan comes on but there is no combustion (after a few seconds the RESET button lights up)

| – Check the fuel level;

– Check that the fuel filter is not clogged;

– Check that the nozzle is not clogged;

– Check that there is no air in the fuel system:

Make sure that the glass ball of the fuel filter is properly screwed in and that the O-ring seal is properly positioned in its seat.

– The photocell is dirty: remove it from its support and clean it.

–  Check that the plastic seal between the motor and the fuel pump is in good condition: if it is broken, it must be replaced.

– The combustion control box is defective: replace it.

–  Check whether there is a spark between the electrodes. If not, check position and

If not, check the position and condition of the electrodes and high voltage cables. Check if the transformer is burned.

The device overheats during use

| – Fuel flow is too high due to nozzle wear or normal operation. Use of a nozzle with different characteristics than the original.

– Combustion air flow is too low due to incorrect adjustment of the combustion head fins.

– Obstructions in the ventilation air path.

When the unit is switched off by or the room thermostat, the fan does not start and the generator overheats. and the generator will overheat.| – The cooling thermostat is defective.

It must be replaced.

The device emits white smoke

| – Excessive combustion air or poor quality fuel.

– Impurities in fuel; clean tank, glass and lines. Replace fuel.

– Air setting has been changed; reset fins to original position.

The device emits black smoke

| – Too little combustion air or too much fuel flow due to due to :

-Nozzle is out of adjustment or not in compliance: replace;

– Incorrect fuel pressure;

– Deflector disk is clogged: clean.

-Incorrect air setting: reset the fins to their original position.
