FLUVAL BIO-CO2 Pro Refill Pack
REFILL PACK INSTRUCTIONS
The Bio-CO2 Refill Pack includes several pre-measured Activator yeast sachets and Booster tablets to quickly and conveniently kickstart the biological fermentation process in the Fluval Bio-CO2 Pro systems.
EACH REFILL PACK INCLUDES:
Model 125
1. Open Precision Regulator fully to completely exhaust CO2 supply and
facilitate the lid opening.
2. Remove Reaction Chamber lid.
3. Empty all interior contents down a drain (100% biodegradable).
4. Thoroughly rinse out Reaction Chamber and dry using a soft cloth (do not
use soap or detergent).
5. Add 1 Booster packet and Activator packet to Reaction Chamber.
6. Add 240 g (240 ml / 1 cup) granulated sugar (not included) to Reaction
Chamber.
7. Add warm (not hot) tap water with a temperature of 80-85°F / 27-30°C to
canister interior fill line.
8. Hand-tighten Reaction Chamber lid and ensure Precision Regulator is fully
closed.
9. With the Precision Regulator fully closed, allow 24 hours for CO2
fermentation period.
Once completed open Precision Regulator and adjust as needed.
Recommended room temperature should be between 68-72°F / 20-22°C.
Model 250
1. Open Precision Regulator fully to completely exhaust CO2 supply and
facilitate the lid opening.
2. Remove Reaction Chamber lid.
3. Empty all interior contents down a drain (100% biodegradable).
4. Thoroughly rinse out Reaction Chamber and dry using a soft cloth (do not
use soap or detergent).
5. Add 2 Booster packets and 2 Activator packets to Reaction Chamber.
6. Add 480 g (500 ml / 2 cups) granulated sugar (not included) to Reaction
Chamber.
7. Add warm (not hot) tap water with a temperature of 80-85°F / 27-30°C to
canister interior fill line.
8. Hand-tighten Reaction Chamber lid and ensure Precision Regulator is fully
closed.
9. With the Precision Regulator fully closed, allow 24 hours for CO2
fermentation period.
Once completed open Precision Regulator and adjust as needed.
Recommended room temperature should be between 68-72°F / 20-22°C.
Model 500
1. Open Reaction lid and release locking clamp, press down on Pressure
Release Valve while simultaneously turning handle.
2. Remove Reaction Chamber lid.
3. Empty all interior contents down a drain (100% biodegradable).
4. Thoroughly rinse out Reaction Chamber and dry using a soft cloth (do not
use soap or detergent).
5. Add 4 Booster packets and 4 Activator packets to Reaction Chamber.
6. Add 960 g (1000 ml / 4 cups) granulated sugar (not included) to Reaction
Chamber.
7. Add warm (not hot) tap water with a temperature of 80-85°F / 27-30°C to
canister interior fill line.
8. Close Reaction Chamber lid, ensure locking clamps are fully open before
placing lid on unit. Press down on lid while rotating handle to ensure proper
seal.
9. With the Precision Regulator fully closed, allow 24 hours for CO2
fermentation period.
Once completed open Precision Regulator and adjust as needed.
Recommended room temperature should be between 68-72°F / 20-22°C.
