WARNING:
- Do not leave the vacuum cleaner alone when the power is on. Unplug the machine when not in use or before removing filter.
- Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner in water or other liquids.
- Please follow the instructions. Use only the accessories recommended by Global Industrial.
- Do not use the power cable or plug when it is damaged. Do not use the machine infit has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water. Please send the machine to us for inspection, repair or adjustment.
- Do not pull the power cord to drag the machine or lift the machine; do not leave the cable line crashed by door. Keep the cord away from sharp edges or corners.
- Do not step on the power cord. Do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces.
- Do not unplug the machine by pulling the cord. To pull the plug, grab the plug, not the cable.
- Do not touch plugs or machines with wet hands.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner to pick up large objects or objects that could damage the machine.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, feet and other parts of the body away from vacuum’s inlet, rolling brushes, and other moving parts. Never vacuum with barefoot or open-toed shoes.
- Do not pick up heat coal, cigarette ends, matches, or anything hot, smoking, or burning.
- Do not pick u13 hard or sharp objects such as mirrors, na11s, screws, anu coins.
- Do not use a vacuum cleaner if the filter is not in a proper position. Only use filters and accessories provided by us or our nominated suppliers. Using other brands will void warranty.
- Turn off power switch on the vacuum cleaner be ore powering on or powering off.
- Be extra careful when vacuuming on stairs.
WARNING:
- Do not vacuum flammable or inflammable materials (lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, etc.) or use with explosive liquids or gases present.
- Do not use a vacuum cleaner in a confined space filled with gases released by oil-based paints, paint thinners, insect repellents, combustible dust, or explosive and toxic gases
- Use only indoors and on dry surfaces.
- Do not put anything into the vacuum tunnel. Do not use a vacuum cleaner when the vacuum inlet is blocked. Remove dust, cotton thread, hair, and other material from your body that may slow the flow of air.

- This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. This appliance is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and has a ground plug that looks like the plug illustrated. Make sure that the appliance is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No adapter should be used with this appliance.
WARNING:
- Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance if it can not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.

Assembly Instructions
Attaching the Handle:
- Remove handle screw.
- Insert handle into top of the bag cover. Make sure handle is firmly pushed down and secure.
- Align the small hole on handle with the screw hole on the bag cover. Insert screw and tighten securely.
- Turn lower cord wrap hook to upright position and wind cord between upper and lower hooks for storage.
Releasing Power Cord:
- The lower cord storage hook has a quick-release function. To release the cord, rotate the hook up ward and the cord will drop off the handle for immediate use.
- Return the lower hook to upright position before attempting to rewind the cord.
Replacing the Dust Bag:
WARNING: Always have a dust bag installed when operating your vacuum
cleaner. Replace with the proper dust bag from Global Industrial.
- Push down on knob at top of bag cover to open the compartment.
- Pull cardboard bag collar off of the holder. Remove and discard used dust bag.
- Slide clean replacement bag collar onto the holder. The bag lever must be positioned behind bag collar. Never pull the lever up, rather, push it down with the dust bag.
- Close the bag cover by reinserting the tab on end into groove on the housing and snap shut.
Checking the HEPA Filter:
WARNING: The HEPA filter protects the motor from dust and dirt. Operating
the vacuum without the HEPA filter in place voids the warranty. Visit

replacement filters and parts.
- Check for accumulated dust and dirt when replacing the dust bag. Clean filter as needed.
- If a replacement is needed. Remove HEPA filter from bottom of the dust compartment.
- Replace HEPA filter if needed.
- Reinstall HEPA filter.
Checking the Post Filter:
NOTE: The auxiliary post filter captures fine dust particles and purifies
air exiting your vacuum cleaner. Change or clean the post filter with every
third dust bag replacement, or as needed. Visit

replacement filters and parts.
- Step on the foot pedal release to drop the vacuum to the low position.
- Push knob at side of the post filter to remove filter cover.
- Remove soiled filter and replace with new one. Do not wash.
Operation and Features
ON/OFF Switch:
- Simple toggle switch on the top of the dust compartment.
- Push down 11 – to start.
- Push down 11 011 to stop.
Automatic Self-Adjusting

Carpet Nozzle:
Your vacuum can float evenly over varying carpet pile lengths. The carpet nozzle raises itself instantly and automatically. -
Full Bag Indicator Light:
A warning light located on the front of the switch cover (below the carrying handle) will activate when the dust bag is full, or if the vacuum is clogged. Replace bag if full. Visit globalindustrial.com for all genuine replacement parts. -
To check for clogs, unplug vacuum cleaner and inspect agitator area.
NOTE: The full bag indicator light may trigger when an attachment is being used during cleaning. Normal airflow restrictions occur when attachments are used; please disregard indicator.
NOTE: If the vacuum cleaner will not start when turned on and the full bag indicator light is on, check to see if the dust bag is installed correctly.
Handle Adjustments:
- The handle of this vacuum cleaner can be set to three positions: upright, middle, or low. To release the handle, step on the pedal at the left rear corner of the vacuum.
- Upright Position: Handle locks in this position for storage. The handle should always be in the upright position when cleaning tools are used.
- Middle Position: This position is for standard cleaning. While in the middle position, the front of the nozzle can be raised by lowering the handle in order to cross room thresholds.
- Low Position: This position is used for cleaning under most furniture.
CARPET/FLOOR Adjustment Pedal:
- The carpet/floor adjustment pedal provides you with the convenience of cleaning carpeted floors and/or bare floors.
- When cleaning carpeted floors, press down on the adjustment pedal (located on the lower housing) to the CARPET position.
- When cleaning bare floors, press down on the adjustment pedal (located on the lower housing) to the FLOOR position.
On-Board Cleaning Tools:
Model 641835 is equipped with state-of-the-art on-board cleaning tools including:
- 2-piece telescoping wand
- Extension wand
- Crevice tool
- Dust brush
- Upholstery tool
To use:
- Remove the 2-piece telescoping wand from wand retainer.
- Connect the 2-piece telescoping wand to the cleaning tool. Unlock wand collar to extend the wand to your desired length.
- Attach the cleaning tool to the wand. Note: Tools may also be attached directly to flexible hose cuff, omitting extension wand.
- Cleaning tools are stored conveniently on the back of the vacuum cleaner’s body. Snap tools back into their appropriate places.
Connecting Optional Hose Assembly:
- Lift the lid of the cleaning attachment opening located at the back of the vacuum cleaner and insert the hose end until it fits snug.
Connecting Cleaning Tools:
- Connect any of the cleaning tools to the extension wand or curved wand and twist for secure fit. Twist and pull apart to remove.
Resetting the Thermal Switch:
The Thermal Switch protects the motor from overheating. If the motor stops due
to prolonged use, follow the below steps:
- Unplug the power cord.
- Set power switch on handle to OFF position.
- Wait about 10 minutes to let the motor cool down.
- Push the reset button lightly to the stop position.
- Restart your vacuum cleaner.
Maintenance
For Best Performance:
- Keep machine and all accessories clean and in proper operating condition.
- Change dust bags and filters as recommended to maintain optimum cleaning efficiency.
- Always use genuine Global Industrial dust bags and filters. Use of other products may result in unsatisfactory cleaning or filtration performance. Filtration products are designed for maximum performance.
- Use only vacuum cleaner authorized dealers for repairs parts or service.
- Carefully store machine in a dry area.
Cleaning the Nozzle:
The nozzle hose carries the dirt from the nozzle to the dust bag and also
functions as the attachment cleaning hose. If it should become clogged, follow
the below directions:
- Unplug the power cord.
- Open the lid of the cleaning attachment opening and remove clog or blockage.
- If the hose is still blocked, remove the hose cuff from nozzle inlet.
- Turn the unit over, and remove the bottom plate.
- Check the nozzle inlet tube for obstructions.
- Once clear, reinstall bottom plate.
Cleaning The Metal Collecting Device:
To get maximum performance, the collected items on the metal collecting device
should be removed frequently.
- Open the lid of the connector for cleaning attachments on the back of your vacuum cleaner .
- Carefully remove collected items from the magnetic device. Be careful when removing needles and other sharp items. Do not use bare hands to remove any item from the magnetic device.
- Close lid to resume normal operation of your vacuum cleaner.
Resetting the Thermal Switch
- The Thermal Switch protects the motor from overheating. If the motor stops due to prolonged use, follow step 1-5.
- Unplug the power cord.
- Set power switch on handle to OFF position.
- Wait about 10 min. to let the motor cool down.
- Push the reset button lightly to the stop position.
- Restart your vacuum cleaner.
